Hint : You can't eat the gammon bomb.
now I'm hungry
I really want a Patton tank for use in Arma 3. The only tanks that BLUFOR gets(with mods of course) are the Abrams, the Merkava, and the Challenger 2(and the Leopard 2 I guess but that's AAF, Bundeswehr, & Afrenia only), and those three are all capable of giving the lower-end OPFOR vehicles an ass whooping they won't forget. There ought to be something that could even the playing field.

Some sand-raking or civil war combat in third world countries could easily justify its presence. Or, hell, even Cold War ops featuring America.

Here's an idea. a banana bomb, throw the huge bundle of bananas and they'll then split off into smaller bananas and then explode some more. The best cluster grenade.
that's from worms
Mallow did you ever finish the artillery shell grenade that you can only throw 5 metres and has an explosive range of 50m
that's from worms
Yeah yeah you know what I'm saying fam, Holy hand grenade when

It would be really neat if the AAF had lots of old-style technology like Pattons, AMX-13s, M16s and the like. Rather than being just another generic modern military they could have a unique role as the low-end local military with specialised guerilla-style tactics. I really hope when Tanoa gets released we get a new faction like this.

new performance binary builds, more FPS (maybe) ;) https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/160288-arma-3-stable-server-150-performance-binary- feedback/page-43?p=2909162#entry2909162
Would anyone be up for doing Arma2 + I44 at some point in the future? I'm having a real craving for some WWII action.
will we be able to aloha snackbar
mission this weekend?
Yes please. Just came back from holiday and need some ARMA before I start work again.

We already have FIA for "low tech local forces".
Tonk stuff. [t]http://vgy.me/sePsJL.jpg[/t][t]http://vgy.me/vnehjO.png[/t][t]http://vgy.me/dQXpNc.png[/t][t]http://vgy.me/rUwNRN.png[/t][t]http://vgy.me/JyQ8I1.png[/t]

We already have FIA for "low tech local forces".
It's a big issue regarding Arma 3, however. They decided to go with the whole near-future route so far that it ended up with NATO and CSAT getting loaded with all this bleeding edge super special advanced gear that they had to upgun a Mediterranean island nation to the degree that it would be able to parry NATO. Not exactly something I'd prefer in an Arma game; FIA/Nogova Rebels, RACS/Sahrani Royalists, and CDF/NAPA/TKA/TKM are all garbage conventional forces when compared to the OPFOR and BLUFOR from their games. So why are the AAF getting equal-level gear? Hopefully the Tanoan military/combat-capable factions are going to be more than a reskin. It'd make sense that they'd focus more on maneuver, skirmish, and naval warfare rather than have them use third/fourth gen MBTs, advanced electronic warfare, and mechanized infantry built for conventional warfare. The environment dictates it even more than Altis and Stratis.
If they didn't back out at the last minute with the full future stuff it wouldn't seem as bad, railgun tank being an example. Also I guess in 2035 it isn't hard for the AAF (Apparently a Battalion sized force) to get enough gear of high enough quality, how many MBTs would you even need.
Oh shit Lingor is out for Arma 3 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=29469 rip my frames
It's a beta, but it looks pretty good and it has new areas I believe.
If anyone remembers that TvTvT I made some time ago, I decided to do another reskin for the OPFOR faction given they just looked like a typical bunch of rooskies: Voytek Corp Dudes(WiP): [T]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/166582232/Voytek_Corp_test01.jpg[/T] Based off the same guys from Esp. Wars: [T]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/espionage-wars/images/1/16/Voytek_FootSoliders_Sentinels.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1280?cb=20150807194044[/T] [sp]Yes it's not much, but it'll at least give some colorful variety between each faction[/sp]
And here I am complain about stitching and patchwork. I know, most people will no notice this, but just see it as criticism and room for improvements. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ineNllp.jpg[/t] There are many parts on a uniform which has no following through camo pattern. Even on the original textures this is the case. So for those parts just copy paste the camo layer, rotate it and move it around a bit. It will make your finished texture look better in game.
now just give them weapons that are easy to tell apart at a glance (bullpup / ak variant / something?) and maybe different looking helmets and it'll start to get good
