I also wish people would notice that when you have more than 4 people on your team then one of them is definitely a deceiver.
But then playing deceiver becomes much more difficult.

Man, those go quick for a thread that doesn't seem super active.
Just did my very first match, we won 59-58
Earlier I joined a match that was four level 5s against a level 2 and two level 1s who had literally just started on the Human side. Score was 17 to 8, they were just getting destroyed. I was actually able to bring them back and we finished that round only down by two points at 27 to 29. The second round I explained some stuff to them, told them some basic strategies and such, and we actually ended up with a small lead until the last couple minutes when they managed to bring the match to a tie.
I'm kinda proud of that actually, I took a bunch of beginners and was able to make them competent against better equipped and skilled players.

Took the GAGACE code. Thank you very much
I wish they would implement a feature that would allow you to see a locked class' defalut equipment, just to see if you would like the specials of said class
Got this game in the square enix bundle and it's actually a really fun game. I just wish they didn't make it so you had to unlock classes on top of having to rent/buy weapons and abilities.

On some 2 week old videos i saw you could unlock classes with Gold or Tokens, shame they ditched that

Yeah, now it's either rank up to get Class Unlocks or spend cash.
Someone with an immortal founder pack should reserve a Facepunch Warband just in case.
Also, shame games like these tend to attract assholes. I remember back in the alpha when everybody was chill and chatty, and generally nice towards each other (We spent an hour looking for cool exploits - We had a sentinel carry an entire human team to the top of a building one round). Now all I see in the lobby post-game is "my team SUX l2p gg" or a bland selection of swearwords.

Is "Jihad 4 Nosgoth" an acceptable Facepunch Warband?

Now that's a class we need.
Suicide squad.
In other news, I found new love in the map "The Fane". Why?

That's why.
(The last image is of the Priestess that was cut from Soul Reaver 1, and only mentioned in the release comic.)
P.S.A.: As your first class to unlock, choose Sentinel.
game looks very cool
I like the lore throwbacks that new map has, helps it keep that Legacy of Kain flavour.
P.S.A.: As your first class to unlock, choose Sentinel.
I went with Scout then Sentinel. Probably should have just picked Deceiver though, I'd never have problems winning again.
Deceiver's a fun class if you can nail stealth and deception right
started playing this "properly" today and I'm having a blast. bought the warlord package a while ago, but I didn't have much fun so I quickly dropped it. gotten more used to it now and it's great.
decided to spend my first class token on the Deceiver since I had seen so many Sentinels, and I don't regret it at all. I haven't seen any other deceiver's play other than me, so I don't think people suspect that one of theirs may be an enemy :v:
I'm pretty much on top of the board after every vampire round after this guy. I love him
[editline]30th July 2014[/editline]
so satisfying to disguise, then drop into a smoke bomb and no one realizes I've arrived. then when stuff gets heated again, use the illusions with a backstab and I've been able to take down 3 guys on my own
after playing this some longer, I'm not sure how I feel about the game at its current state.
what I dislike the most is how we're forced to play both sides during one match. one of the games main features is its asymmetrical balance, and I feel you kinda ruin that once you start forcing teams. what if someone plays better as a vampire, or vice versa? personally I enjoy playing as vampire more than I enjoy playing human, and it's not fun at all having to play 10 minutes of something I don't enjoy playing every match. I don't wanna be that asshole who abandons his team either.

I think that is part of it though. If someone is better as a Vampire, they can't just only play as a Vampire and just run over everyone else, they also have to play as a Human, which means they could still lose if they aren't good there as well.
The reworked matchmaking system can't come soon enough. I'm tired of the game bugging out when in a 3-man premade.
I thought this game was quite fun, humans seem abit more OP though, I don't know if anyone else agrees.
I thought this game was quite fun, humans seem abit more OP though, I don't know if anyone else agrees.
Vampires have a wider range of powers, higher health, and easier healing plus regeneration. And the Deceiver.
Idk personally I think it's pretty balanced and highly dependent on how good the players are.
Considering Vampires have to kill people to heal but can't do ranged attacks while humans can shoot you from across the map and just need to find a supply station to get health/ammo.
Teamwork is OP

First of all, supply stations have a cool down each, vampires get garunteed regen. Also, the Reaver has his smoke bomb, which can be turned in to the poison bomb. Sentinel has airstrike, and I know there is one other. Plus they all have much better speed and navigational abilities, they all are at worst equal to humans in health, they attack much faster and hit harder. Plus there is the Deceiver. If you discount the Deceiver, the vampires have a minor edge, but with him its basically no contest.
Anyone got a key to spare? Wouldnt mind getting into this.

PM me for a key if you don't have one already
You will even get a small gold bonus!
*i'm out of keys*
Played 5-6 matches besides the servers kicking people to lobby when it wants to sometimes. It's very fun, both as vampire and as hunter, but while one bad vampire won't make a difference, one bad hunter completely screws the team up. Kind of sucks there, but it's fun none the less. Deceiver fucks my brains though. A clone of your teammate approaches you, transforms into 3 vampires and kicks your ass. FML.
