3-6k people online yet I keep getting put against the same groups of people over and over I feel like.
-snip-
I am a goddamn pro at Reaver and Alchemist.
Surprised this thread isn't more active. Summoner is out at some point today so that should be interesting. Favourite classes? Sentinel and Prophet for me, heavy pistols are great if you can aim.
prophet and tyrant. prophet with heavy guns is my shit
I'm surprised at how this game isnt gaining more popularity. I'd think this thread would be page 1 atleast.

It's not been out of open beta long, I imagine it's steadily picking up.

I know its pretty early to be asking this but how does the Summoner feel to the other vampires? Saw her in a game once, well not really she was never in plain sight I just saw all her abilities go off in my face.

I play this game all the time. Sentinel all the way. Bitches got nothing on my dive bomb and that power that damages enemies as you hold them in the air. Pretty much undefeatable if you take your time. I fucking HATE the matchmaking system, though. You can go from having a great and communicative team to having the worst team fathomable.

Was playing this morning before school and I found out I'm pretty good at throwing the Reaver's gas bomb. Hit all 4 members of the other team and got the 1000 damage XP bonus ~20 seconds into the round.
I am a goddamn pro at Reaver and Alchemist.
Not a pro but I really like both those classes. Been trying the flamethrower on the Alchemist, pretty nice damage but I think I do way better with the flame vial thing. Reaver's kung fu kick is great though. Not POWERFUL but super fun! In other news, playing with people using skype or something makes you do 10x better since coordination via the in-game voice chat or text is just insufficient.
My set up is Alchemist: All default except replace flame with healing vial Reaver: All default except replace smoke with poison
I prefer doing damage to the slight healing the vial gives, and the kick is so much more fun than the standard pounce. In terms of power the Savage Pounce is a ton better once you get the aiming down than standard pounce, a straight upgrade barring the removal of the auto target.

I sucked as Hunter in L4D, so the autoaim is a blessing.
Got into Nosgoth with the release of Open Beta and I was caught off-guard at how addicted I became to playing it. I picked up Vampires, specifically the Reavers, within a couple hours and I would consider myself competent in playing them. Humans, specifically the Hunter, I'd say I'm questionable in performance. I can disable Vamps and have good aim, however, I have no real contingency to a vampire being in my face with LMBx10. Otherwise, I really want this game to pick-up and get popularity over the course of nearing release. I'd say it deserves it.
Since there's no general Legacy of Kain thread out there I'll just post this here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=997613 Some cool stuff from the cancelled LoK game Dead Sun

I would have definately preferred this over nosgoth as I've hungered for another game in the Kain series for awhile and Nosgoth doesn't exactly qualify.
so i'm having a lot of fun playing deceiver, but jesus, there's a lot of grinding in this game.
No such thing as grinding, only playing :) Speaking of which, this has occupied more of my time than any other game in recent history. Totally recommend it, it's a blast to put on some Slayer and boot up Nosgoth.
just tried out the crucible, and while it's a gorgeous map that really fits the turelim backstory, it's a pain in the ass to navigate sometimes some parts of the map is claustrophobic and the pipes are such an unnecessary obstacle for vampires who need to roam fast just remove the pipes and open up certain points and it'll be a really good map also haven't had the opportunity to try out the new classes human vanguard and vampire summoner, what's your impression of them?
Emergency bump: https://www.nosgoth.com/faq Game's shutting down. RIP.
