Until Dawn is so RIDICULOUSLY good looking. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. Was watching the first few minutes through a Let's Player and it looks just stunning. This clip is spoiler-free. Look at the fucking facial animation. It's GORGEOUS. It's somehow managed to escape the uncanney valley, but just barely! [vid]http://b.1339.cf/gynuhkj.webm[/vid]
It makes good stills, but the movement look really unnatural in that scene you just posted. The movement is all over the place as well.
Can't say if PS4 Flower has been even TOUCHED from its PS3 version
Completely agree. If there were differences, they must have been minor.
Holy shit, could you put together a list of graphics mods you are using. That looks amazing.
These are pretty old pictures found on my imgur account. But I remember using all the Blastcore addons and some type of a lightning overhaul. Max settings incl. RadeonPro (Nvidia control panel for some); enhanced HBAO and volumetric ambient occlusion, AF+LOD. The custom AA settings did not work for some reason. All this gave me 44 fps before the battle, and 3-10 fps during battle. I also used the editor for slow-motion and time pauses for camera movements.

The shitty thing is the actors have to make exagerated movements and facial expressions for the mocap to pick up.

Did it take you long to finish it?
Went back to warthunder for couple battles, but didn't manage to get anything good. So atleast I will show the best thing I've ever done in WT :v: [editline]29th August 2015[/editline] Too bad the second kill doesn't count
Why is the video in side-by-side 3D format?
im not sure exactly, 8-9 hours i guess
More importantly, considering it's £40, would you play it again?
I'd buy Until Dawn if it wasn't priced at 60 bucks
I'd buy Until Dawn if it wasn't priced at 60 bucks
I'd buy it too if it wasn't priced at... well buying a ps4 to play it, looks like a great game, i mean i'd enjoy it, I enjoyed Heavy Rain, and beyond two souls, seems similar but yeah i can't afford another new console
So much money and great quality that makes it well deserved. But the short gamethrough killed it and therefore decreased it's pricetag value.
So much money and great quality that makes it well deserved. It sounds like the kind of game that has a ton of replay value because each chapter has a ton of choices that affect the ending
oh don't even make me think about Telltale game done with technology of Until dawn... that would be so amazing Emergency content [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/40853620800851172/D1E24700CFF02599628843E206E9EBDC3AA24229/[/t]

Y'know, the rule where you're supposed to post content AND the name of the game still stands...
Y'know, the rule where you're supposed to post content AND the name of the game still stands...
Whoops, forgot about it. Fixed.
So did you know that After Effects REALLY hates it when you feed it footage that isn't exactly 60fps? Like, it's gonna eat one out of every other frame if your footage is, say, 59.862fps? Did you know that it took me about 6 hours to finally troubleshoot that problem? Did you know that it means that I had to re-render all of my ".aep" files on top of rendering the whole thing once again in Premiere and once more in After Effects to get the final Pixel Motion effect at the right framerate? Did you know it's gonna take 4 more hours to render? Did you know I've spent 12 hours working on a 2 minute clip? :nope:
You should always match the project's fps to the media fps. It's like, the first thing I do, always. :v: Lesson learned, bub!
You should always match the project's fps to the media fps. It's like, the first thing I do, always. :v: Lesson learned, bub!
Well, I honestly didn't think that After Effects would give me such a fuss for a difference of 0.138th of a frame. It's especially puzzling since Premiere doesn't give me shit and actually renders that correctly. It's just that if it goes through After effects it's 60fps or bust. [editline]30th August 2015[/editline]
Why the hell would you feed anything 59.862?
It's Shadowplay. For some retarded reason it doesn't record exactly at 60fps. Even more frustrating, Windows kept rounding up the actual number to 60fps when looking at the properties and nothing else had indicated me the footage wasn't at 60fps but the fact that the preview window in AE tells you at what fps it's previewing compared to the source fps. [editline]30th August 2015[/editline] And now I've got to rerender all my gameplay clips so they're at exactly 60fps. What a fucking chore. Fuck Nvidia for that 59.862fps and fuck Adobe for not having a way to handle off-fps footage.
Did it take you long to finish it?
It took me about 6 hours and 40 minutes, but I've heard people get upwards 8+ hours out of it. It depends on what choices you make. Speaking of Until Dawn [t]http://i.imgur.com/oI3cRGa.png[/t] More beautiful graphics. These are the headshots in the menu. Absolutely amazing. [editline]30th August 2015[/editline] I bought a capture card just so I could take shots of this game but I ended up getting too immersed. :v: I did stream it though so what I have is what OBS pushed out.
