Is it intentional that every shot in until dawn looks just slightly out of focus? It looks amazing tagged but if you open the full res version it's disgusting. [editline]30th August 2015[/editline] plus there's that blue-grey filter over everything
Is it intentional that every shot in until dawn looks just slightly out of focus? But don't worry, it's sharper on the actual screen. The picture I have is just compressed both through OBS's recording and a rendered Sony Vegas MP4. Mostly OBS though. This picture was taken straight from the capture card. And even then it's a little blurrier than on the monitor itself.
Why the hell would you feed anything 59.862?
That's just how Shadowplay works yo, it rarely sticks to proper framerates and makes up its own.
It's VFR. Record in OBS with NVENC or something for better framerate control. Also Shadowplay source footage isn't great for pixel motion estimation anyways.
It's VFR. Record in OBS with NVENC or something for better framerate control. Also Shadowplay source footage isn't great for pixel motion estimation anyways.
When you record at 5% real-time, the quality of the source footage barely matters.
When you record at 5% real-time, the quality of the source footage barely matters.
if we're talking about brute force blending, then no. But he mentioned Pixel Motion which is super sensitive in my experience to noise.
BeamNG Drive [vid]http://puu.sh/jTJeX.webm[/vid]
Really hope the developers of beamng implement this kind of motion blur in the game. Would be awesome.
Really hope the developers of beamng implement this kind of motion blur in the game. Would be awesome.
iirc, this kind of motion blur is incredibly demanding to be rendered in real-time. Maybe with the advent of DX12 it'll help better motion blur implementations, but even then I don't see this happening.
Really hope the developers of beamng implement this kind of motion blur in the game. Would be awesome.
Trackmania has an extremely similar and good motion blur that you can enable in game.
It's not that good with rapid movement, afaik.
if we're talking about brute force blending, then no. But he mentioned Pixel Motion which is super sensitive in my experience to noise.
Oh it works decently with the sort of footage Shadowplay outputs, though it has problems with fast moving repetitive patterns (like the ground) no matter the source quality.
Oh it works decently with the sort of footage Shadowplay outputs, though it has problems with fast moving repetitive patterns (like the ground) no matter the source quality.
True, I was doing some GTA5 stuff. I found out though that the editor is limited to 1080p, so I recorded my 5% speed video with fraps at like 10fps for 200fps effective, and used CC force Motionblur to then fill in the blanks and often there are gaps behind the car where it has no info.
It's not that good with rapid movement, afaik.
I thought it was pretty good, although maybe a little overdone, which is why I never played with it on. Game is Trackmania Nations. After booting it up to record this, it reminded me how good this game was, especially back during its height. Audio didn't record for some reason. I wanted to record Canyon because it's newer and I remember the motion blur being better, but I can't find the install and Steam says I don't own it. I probably bought it before it was on Steam or something.

GTA Fünf. [VID]http://s1.webmshare.com/gQ3Y3.webm[/VID] There's something amazing in being able to see a random, banal shooting scene in any angle, any speed, any way you want. Every game should feature an editor like that.
One of the reasons I love PC gaming is we come up with the best names for ourselves For instance, this guy in GW2

Fucking hell, here's what I spent entirely too much time upon. There's something about spending so much time working on something that you can't tell if it's even okay anymore or not:

I used to have a lot more but apparently Steam deleted a shit ton of my screenshots or something.
are we digging up funny screenshots from Steam [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/719791555847850414/911B386F784E3C34AA44AD93F8CD1B08BF4C389E/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/707399052440957090/52159F0A1DA5F85041DD14751E95E4CAE49F84F1/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/577903436577789404/C7E3157F3D560646FE623B666FDC340703D6AC4C/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/3318337467185488881/9861085B1F985A8CA9483A0AAC8DFB3E15E1BEAE/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/3424160647574262066/ACD7AB6D779DF08975612E7F8A146B3BE5407A10/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/901003824313688234/EDBF83E784F11AB88478238442D3295208EC69E6/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/864964469508386318/1C1A9EE08D06DAFDAC43287A23F8E6819B21C4EB/[/t] i've got a couple of those. Just my contribution to the inevitable Mad Max dump that will hit this thread [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/691654839295275631/095FFAE4FEDC41B65B146B5AE509271057FA2CE1/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/691654839295275743/D50C7792686CC0254A87DC325CC1DD18EFE90022/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/691654839295275850/D545E1242E86DF414B693C63315E3173404F9246/[/t] This game has an amazing in-game photo (and video) recorder, and it's got the graphics to back it up. It is also greatly optimized.
honestly surprised the thread got a mad max dumpette instead of a MGSV megadump
