dragon age has some of the worst character creation assets out there. all of the hair lacks an alpha map almost entirely. i don't think the devs even know what an alpha map is. it just goes from 0 transparency to 100 transparency like a gif so the hair textures are all extremely blocky. and in most cases the facial hair doesn't even sit on the faces at all; they float in front of the head

idk i got really tired of the new dragon age. the worlds are unnecessarily too open and thus too empty. at first it seems kind of cool but then it just becomes a huge chore having to travel around and find things that otherwise don't really benefit you or the story at all. it's just tacked on to make you think the world is big, but being big doesn't mean it's entertaining
i know you were being sarcastic but i'm pretty sure everyone who's played the new dragon age feels that way. mass effect did it the best

The facial hair in Dragon Age has always been terrible. I made a mage and gave him a beard, I then made his cheeks as wide as possible (not at all wide) and there was at least a solid inch between his skin and the beard. How the fuck does that happen? Set the beard to start inside the face and have it protrude out like [i]an actual beard does[/i].

i was thinking this recently and gave 4 another go, story imo is better cause it's a lot darker and i prefer that but fuck those graphics, fuck that performance, fuck not having any car customization and very limited character customization
gta 5 was a massive step up and i totally forgot that it was
