You make me realize how much I take that for granted now. Not only that but when you go prone, your turn rate is limited which means that someone can flank you super easily. BF4 is probably one of the few games where the prone stance feels balanced versus other positions. Only go prone in the middle of battle if you're desperate because you'll be vulnerable as fuck.

Honestly, I don't know if Battlefront is good or bad, but I can say that it looks absolutely gorgeous.

I'm really not fond of COD4's lighting engine (and subsequent releases on the same engine, basically) everything feels off and... weird.

Christ, are you running that on a NASA supercomputer? Or did they just optimize the SHIT out of DayZ at some point recently?

Nah it's still hilariously bad, but I run it maxed except for AA and it doesn't really drop below 20fps unless you're in a city. After playing it on my old 2.4 Core 2 Duo for ages the i5 4690k feels smoother than warmed coconut oil. Honestly this game is months, maybe years away from being good, and yet I can't stop playing it. Edit: To clarify, it stays well above 60 most of the time. Only in towns does it go down to about 20 or 30.

Even on my older computer it was either 60 or at least 45 or I wouldn't bother playing it.

Even on my older computer it was either 60 or at least 45 or I wouldn't bother playing it.[/QUOTE] playing at 20fps for a long time is kinda like cardio training with weights from my experience at least. played tf2 (my first fast paced multiplayer pc fps) at 20-25fps from 2008 until 2011. after i finally learned how to build a pc, i got a gts 450 and tf2 went straight to 60+ fps and suddenly i started topping scoreboards like it was nothing.
