30fps cap, had to find a workaround, followed with lack of sense of speed, can't pause at all, graphics looked impresive, but slowly lacking because rain shaders felt off.
Now I understand why people dislike this game.
Couple more from Paint the Town Red:

the pipe and pimp cane are the best cause they just blow people's heads up. sometimes it makes their heads explode and their skulls stays intact. it's pretty great
i don't know about you guys but i have more fun just desecrating the bodies than i do actually playing the game
Shuriken are the best :v

Jesus fucking christ, now imagine if you gave them the money and resources of a triple-A production team.
[editline]19th October 2015[/editline]
Which, first of all, would probably turn the blocky people into actual, round characters.
[editline]19th October 2015[/editline]
Point is, it's fun when a game focuses directly on physics and the impacts of the weapons. Immediate fun results it seems.
That game would also probably be fun if all the enemies were skeletons. With bone fragments flying everywhere. For a gory-less version.
the enemies have skeletons inside of their bodies and if you hit them right you can send all of the meat flying off of their bones which is really cool
honestly having a detailed gib model wouldn't be too difficult either. it's just nobody bothers to do it. the only game I can think of that is even including such a thing is due process and even that has the blocky digitized look and not a quasi realistic approach
Didn't Soldiers of Fortune have a gore system like that?

An extremely opinionated argument. There are people who find just what they are looking for in current triple-A games, or else how could they be triple-A games?
the point i am trying to make is that this isn't a triple-A game because of what it is, not because it is a bad game, but simply because it is not what the triple-A players demand. Sure it is fun if a game focuses on the things that you want it to focus on.

Somehow I cut this guy's head off with a guitar:

At first I found it annoying that all weapons break after a few hits, but it does introduce an element of improvisation to combat.
One time the sword broke in a guys chest, another guy was about to glass me so I grabbed the comb out of his hair, put it in his face and kicked him over a table.

while I agree it makes [i]sense[/i], the game will really profit from a sandbox mode where the weapons are just indestructible so you can go to down stabbing and smacking people with whatever you want just to see the ridiculous outcomes
he's adding a horde survival mode so all he needs is one where you are given a tray of invincible god tier weapons just to play with them

Indeed that's true, but you know how some triple-A games are, or how they turn out.. Looking better than how it plays.
Personally i'm very picky about my purchases, and it's funny how a small game like that strikes me as more compelling to play than some triple-A game trailers on first glance.
This game is the stress reliever I've been looking for.

Oddly enough, Fallout 3 had a fairly detailed gib system.
I can't wait to see what it is like in 4.

The problem is that getting gibbed means death, so it's either no gibs, partial gibbing or exploding into chunks. There's no taking things off piece by piece.
Not to sound psychotic.

iirc from one of the gameplay trailers a couple ghouls were walking around with missing arms but I can't remember if they came off from the player or if they spawned like that

A shitty vid showed you can dismember a Ghoul's limbs by exploding its legs and it could still try to fight you despite having no legs. It wasn't spawned like that either.
