I think it's just a side effect of how videogame animation is. We can't simulate skin/muscle deformation in games yet so nothing stretches or flexes/compresses like it would in real life.
I think in that shot she's just leaning onto one leg.

Its a pretty fun game, last time I played it I did like a six hour long stream. :v:
They also just did a big update and they're adding in workshop support here soon as well. The game has a big modding community.
