The majority of players use trading paints anyway. I don't bother with a fancy skin for my cars but I still have it installed so I can see other people's cars.

I wasn't complaining about it, just saying that it seems a bit too dark to be playable even though the colours look very nice.
But, if it does indeed look fine for the person who actually plays it, there isn't really a problem.

i'm willing to bet if you just posted a standard 1080p screenshot from some graphics spearhead game on max settings downsampled from 4k, simply saying "with sweetfx" people will say "it looks like garbage"

your contrast may be set too high. Looks fine on my monitor, there are no solid black blobs anywhere in the screenshots. What you see as "brightness" may just be the contrast setting brightening the brights and darkening the darks.
