what server do you play on movie battles 2 is gay as hell and yet everyone plays it. i just play JA+ on the -[KR]- server (ip 192.223.29.244:29070) seems to be the best server i've been on but at the same time it's laggy as hell a lot of the time would be sweet to get some proper players grouped up because most people that i see are brand new and don't know the first thing about the game
I use to play years ago from when I was a kid until college on a server Ladies of the Sith, I became part of the sub clan Guardians of the sith and back in the good old days of the game it was always crowded and sometimes full. That and a certain Minecraft server I met my partner on have just been the only games I feel like part of a community and I'd feel like crap from school and what not and I'd bury my head in it and I made a few great friends even met one a couple times and obviously on Minecraft I met my partner who I live with now, but I tried JOF server that is currently quite populated but it didn't recapture the magic exactly, I had hoped to recapture the addiction when I use to play years ago on (LOTS) but with business of life and not really getting the same feeling with it all I just had to go, wish they'd go for a fourth one honestly, it is such a great community friendly game and the gameplay is amazing, I use to love dueling and felt you really had to become good at it to dominate, it felt like you had to build your skill up. Oh god I've rambled to much haha.

You jump around and slowly whittle your opponent down or hope for a nice red slash. MB2 saber fights are actually real lightsaber duels. You have to aim your saber correctly when blocking to conserve block points efficiently, and you have to find a way to break through your opponent's guard before he breaks through yours. You parry, block, counterattack and attack, like vanilla should've been. Unfortunately the community is horseshit last time I checked, and it's basically died down over the years.

So pulled up Wipeout HD on a used ps3. And it still looks pretty good. It even has an in-game photo mode. I will never understand how people bought bf4 when it is literally the same thing on a first glance
I will never understand how people bought bf4 when it is literally the same thing on a first glance
BF 4 is actually a really good game now, with tons of content, fixed netcode and balance changes. DICE L.A. really polished it up.
I will never understand how people bought bf4 when it is literally the same thing on a first glance
I got it + premium for like £30. Loads of new maps, weapons etc, better graphics, better netcode. Not really a huge price to pay if you're a fan of Battlefield games honestly
The real baffling thing is people still buying Hardline

There's way more strategy involved than what you describe. Sure, MBII makes the fights more realistic, but you are able to block and parry out of MBII, too. The JoF server for example has a high block rate, so you can build in blocks and very effective counter attacks into your fighting style. I know people who rely on that shit only.

The only really useful stance is red stance because it has the highest block chance, plus it has insane range. You can start an attack and charge at people and they won't expect it because the animations are so slow you don't really notice that it's an attack compared to if someone was just swinging their sword all over town with blue stance or whatever It sucks because JA is so full of new people that all they do is just use dual sabers and do the saber twirl. And all of the other newbies are so dumb that they run in to it and insta-die. On top of that laming is unbelievable. you pretty much have to be on guard at all times because otherwise you'll just get stabbed in the back by some newbie, and usually you get punished for being the victim too. I can't count how many times I've been kicked from servers despite being the victim. It's like they don't even check to see who's doing it, they just boot people willy nilly I've never played mb2 so I don't know how the blocking stuff works but I have to say even basic JA has a really awesome fighting system to it even without all of that stuff. I think if I played with a block button it'd feel too different and not in a good way. JA's charm is in the fighting stuff that was provided with the game, not mount & blade style combat
Wait, so you haven't even tried it? :speechless:
There's plenty of duel servers in MB2. If you actually learn all the classes properly by playing them you aren't gonna get skull fucked instantly. SBD's are the biggest assholes when they're with a sith or droideka but even then there's ways to counter them as jedi.
