I accidentally recorded some random footage of my Homeworld 1 skirmish last night.
I've been playing some Homeworld 1 lately because I've been so excited for Remastered. It is incredible how well this game holds up. Homeworld still feels just as fresh and unique today as it did 15 years. The graphics are a bit dated, but the style is still strong, and the gameplay is absolutely fantastic.
It's a crying shame that HW1 Remastered is going to be a glorified mod to Homeworld 2, but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless.

Strange. I've modded Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind, and this always seems to be the one that works simply the best and is the easiest installation I've found. My fps drop was pretty minimal dispute the absolutely amazing difference in visuals.
Are you trying to install the graphics extender yourself? or running the installer/overhaul from here: [url]http://www.ornitocopter.net/morrowind-overhaul/[/url]
The joys of the overhaul is it does all the hard work/configuration for you.
There's a mod for Unreal 1 (227 patch) to make all lights destructable, and apparently its done through scripting, so if you copy your UT files to Unreal 1 and get the botpack mod, you can use that mod in UT99 maps too

Weird, it's actually pretty streamlined now. You used to have to do a lot of the configurations yourself, but now you just run an installer.

I like interstellar marines
not enough people play interstellar marines unfortunately, mostly because it's so slow to update and it's currently so minimal
i don't think it'd be so frustrating to play if they had better multiplayer support to begin with. the server browser is easily one of the worst things about the game
it's such a boss game though

It's a memory hack that makes them all go faster. They get a sudden speed boost when their "real" physics activate (hence cars in the distance being normal) and the AI doesn't know how to cope with it.
