The amount of bugs in Unity is one of the reasons I can't bring myself to play it, that and the horrible framerate, I don't mind it being around 30, hell I can even deal with 24 for fuck sake, but the framerate is so fucking choppy it's just horrible.
Even without the bugs the game feels very much like a step back in the series. It looks beautiful and the customisation is great, but apart from that it's pretty lacking in every way. Poor game, all about the graphics.

Am I weird for genuinely liking the story in Unity? Bugs aside, I had a great time with it, especially the combat and improved parkour.

there was a 3rd person arena shooter a few years back that lasted for like a year before servers went offline. i didn't get to play it but it looked fun as shit. stargate: resistance, and it seems like some private servers are floating around.
there is a mobile game, sg-1: unleashed, that i think is still like being developed. it's supposed to come out on pc and possibly 360 as well. oh, apparently its developer is no longer functioning and two episodes were released. it should be noted that this game has the sg-1 crew doing their own voice acting.
stargate is just a doomed franchise and it kills me every time something gets cancelled. here's to hoping the reboot films don't go the same way.
but apart from that, there's a puzzle game for n64 and a side-scroller for nes, both are movie tie-ins. that's about it. there are some half-life and hl2 mods but are pretty much dead. your best bet at this point is to fuck around with the gmod addons. there are some pretty kickass maps for jedi academy as well, but good luck on getting people in your server, unless you get a group or something.
i get the feeling the only way we'll ever see a stargate game is if activision or dice pick it up and make it a fps. meh.

Only problem is that those are Russian soldiers, they added the Soviets as a playable faction the day before yesterday.
