I think Driveclub is the best looking racing game to come out. If this is what I can look forward to on future racing titles, I will be so happy. pCARS looks good but there's something about DC that just makes it look so damn nice.

that'll be the heavily post-processed photo mode. drive club looks nowhere near as good in static gameplay shots as project cars @ max settings does

and by that I mean when you turn off motion blur and whatnot and look at the scenery, project cars is a lot better. in motion, they look pretty much the same

Rrrright. Antialiasing gets upped, shadows get softened. It doesn't change the look of the game.
Sure you can add DoF and Motionblur with far higher quality than any real-time application.

I have both PCARS and Driveclub, and there's no question about it.
Driveclub looks way better in motion than PCARS. It's clear that Evolution has a lot more experience in the field.

The scenery in Driveclub is also easily superior with their fucking incredibly accurate weather, volume clouds, wind & time of day systems.

I personally like the fact that the graphics are pretty still in gameplay @ Driveclub. It's the aesthethics and the attention to detail of the game that really make it shine though. Take the Nurb in Project Cars for example? The track still doesn't feel quite right in terms of road size to me.

Also, would you want shallow DoF while racing? Or would you like to have the option to emulate a camera in a "Photo mode" ? :v:
