Hey everyone, Due Process dev here. We've been staying fairly quiet lately since we've been pushing to get our game to a kickstartable state, so if you're waiting for news, hang tight, it's coming!
I still can't believe how much of a surprise this game was. Came out of nowhere with essentially perfect car physics. There's so much momentum in cars that it feels genuinely satisfying when you pull off a nice string of smooth corners. Can't wait to move onto the later classes of cars. Looks stunning too.

It seems that they were more interested in making something that works, over something that looks great(If they wanted to do that they might have waited and used their new/updated engine that is going in F1 2015). It's no worse than Dirt 3, but I think a sizable portion of their audience are RBR fans.

Loving the interiors, they have much more detail and are actually different from one another unlike the previous games.

This isn't my video, but it's a nice example of another interior + the absolutely amazing sound design in the game. Honestly I don't think anything else comes close in sound.

The new dirts tracks look so good, like proper rally tracks instead of the wide as fuck shit they had in DiRT 2 and 3

They are. One of the tracks in Greece is only just wide enough for the Quattro at one part and it also cambers in a way that it tries to slide you off the cliff. Everything in the game is so dangerous because of the fact that cars actually have momentum now. Stages are much longer as well as narrower, one of the longer Monte Carlo tracks took me 7 minutes in one of the fastest cars.

this might seem fussy but it doesnt look like a codemasters game being released in 2015, it looks worse than dirt2. i dont think good gameplay is any excuse there are games like project cars and assetto corsa with both great graphics and gameplay made by smaller studios
