Is it worth getting at all? I have assault squad 2 but I've been really interested in playing Vietnam scenarios with MOW gameplay.

Not unless it's cheap. I got it for a dollar on the humble store so it was good for that.
It seems to run fine on PCSX2 for me, you might want to try the latest dev builds and see how it does for you. (I use the US version)
I'm gonna give this a go now, downloaded a dev build to try it
Last time I tried only half of the screen would render, something about a memory value being used for the UI bugging out/being used elsewhere or some shit
[editline]17th May 2015[/editline]
You have to run it in software rendering mode which in my case even with a 4.7ghz 2500k and a 770 means you'll get 30fps which isn't playable because effectively the game, including audio etc is running at half the speed it normally should

dunno if it's ok with you but you could try frameskipping every other frame which should boost it to 60fps.
personally i'm not a fan of frameskipping, but it depends whether it's a racing game etc.

So I did some googling and found that someone has actually somewhat fixed the issue, essentially the problem is that the developers were lazy when it came to setting up the resolutions for PAL/NTSC and there's some shit going on that causes half of the screen to render a blank texture rather than a render target
So some guy fixed it by manually forcing the resolution or something (as you can tell I'm not an expert) and long story short it works now under hardware mode. I had to compile it all myself and spent like 3 hours messing around, but it works - [del]you can only run it at native resolution though[/del] the UI doesn't scale above native resolution, and the framerates are still low in places so I'm going to have to use some frame skipping. Nice to see that this will be added to the main branch soon though once it's been polished up properly, this issue was first flagged like 4 years ago on the github page and it's only just being dealt with

Erm, how long is it going to take for this to be added?
I've been wanting to play Dark Alliance for years now and software mode is what's been stopping me.
https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/issues/262
The last 3-4 comments, you can compile it yourself if you know how to or wait until it's merged to the main pcsx2 builds, I've got no idea how long it takes for these things to go through
Alternatively bug the guy that's working on it about an ETA, let him know that everyone has been waiting for this for years

Not sure if it's just the angle or if Flame Atronachs are actually smiling. Never noticed that before for some reason.
I played a bit of GRID Autosport today and I think I’ve figured out what I’m looking for in a racing sim. I want something that has a structured career with a sense of progression, the full practice/qualifying/race structure, a wide variety of GT and Touring cars with realistic physics.
Autosport comes really close to what I want, but the weird physics throw the whole thing off. It makes me wonder if Project CARS is the sweetspot that I’ve been looking for, but it has no demo and I’m not willing to spend $50 for a game I’m not sure I’ll like, and that's without getting into how much flak the game gets and how divisive opinions are on it.
I have to say though, I really liked iRacing when I had it for a month. The only reason I stopped playing was because of how time consuming it was and of course how expensive (real life money expensive) it is to play.
Pics are from GRID Autosport.

My favourite thing about Project Cars is the sense of progression. You can even start at karts and work your way up.

i think part of the problem with project cars is the amount of prerelease hype both the community and the gaming press generated, a lot of people are suckers for that kind of stuff and then the slightest problem at launch becomes some massive clusterfuck.

This is the game on low settings, jesus fuck. Plus I'm surprised this is running on an intel hd 4600, like how is this even possible.

The game is Witcher 3 in case some people live under a rock.
Looks really good.
The sharpening effect or whatever it was really hurt my eyes in 2

Hey, he was told to get to the lower level, he just did it in the most efficient manner possible!
i liked 2's sharpen effects myself. it was overdone yeah but they had the right idea
tw3 has sharpen too but it's so little you can't even notice it on 1080. biggest problem with the game is that red is too red and yellow is too yellow. the saturation is really weird

Holy shit, what? That's completely incomparable to GPU's cited in minimum requirements.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think it would run, but I preordered anyway since I knew that if i couldn't run it now, I'd be able to run it later anyways. Looks like I didn't actually have to wait to play it after all. It doesn't run at 60 or anything like that, but 25-30 frames average is good enough for me since I'm using a laptop, and it's pretty much running at console level I think.
