They added controller support too.
I wonder if we'll ever have blur this good in games, ever.
That's from a game, so, yes.
That's from a game, so, yes.
paul simon added that blur in post-process, I believe in After Effects? (iirc etc)
Nevermind then.
Only in extreme cases, like in that second shot. That's absolutely not the fault of the motion blur technique, but the amount of samples used. The devs could easily have allowed a higher amount of samples, but that would mean longer time to fully generate a shot in the photo mode when it's usually not needed. Ideally there should be a slider for manually setting the amount of samples. The blur itself is frameblend motion blur, and that's far better than any real-time motion blur systems today as it takes into account not only the movement from one frame to the next, but all the sub-movements in between. [vid]http://puu.sh/gunoh.webm[/vid] Video related, it uses the same kind of motion blur.
What game is that by the way?

In my never-ending quest to find the perfect racing sim, I'm now trying out Raceroom Racing Experience. Seems very good, although I understand this game has a bad reputation from its early days. Either way, the sound in this game is jaw dropping. I have never, ever, heard a racing sim sound this good. I thought it sounded great from the cockpit, but then I switched to third person out of curiosity and Jesus Christ. I almost wish I could play this game in third person because it sounds that good. [vid]http://a.pomf.se/avgwge.webm[/vid]
The way the sounds work is fantastic, but I feel like there's too much compression in some of the more raw sounds, like the Gr. 5 cars. They sound a bit "digital/electric" because you can hear the compression if you know what I mean. Either way, this and DiRT Rally have the best car sounds on the market.
[vid]https://a.pomf.se/gguhld.webm[/vid]
Put the titles of the games you post please.
Put the titles of the games you post please.
It's War Thunder. If it's WWII to Cold War and has planes in the same view, and semi-historical tanks with moderate graphics: War Thunder If it's WWII to Cold War and has prototype/fantasy tanks only in a slightly more zoomed out view, with lesser graphics, but a few HD tanks: World of Tanks If it's Post-Cold War to Modern and looks like WoT, but better: Armored Warfare Anything else is likely an RTS. (Company of Heroes 1 and 2, Men of War, Graviteam Tactics, Panzer Corps, Order of War, etc.) Unless it's extremely detailed Panzer IV / T-34 - then it might be one of the Red Orchestra games. War Thunder also has a real-time and post-death X-Ray view, which is another good dead giveaway versus WoT:

A pretty view I noticed while building in Medieval Engineers. (clicky) [thumb]http://a.pomf.se/yywqht.png[/thumb] For whatever reason this game blows me away, I find it really, really pretty even though there's barely anything to it. [editline]1st June 2015[/editline] That exact same spot seconds later when I accidentally let a huge block of stone fall on it... [thumb]http://a.pomf.se/mlnftl.png[/thumb]
have you tried iracing? you can get a 3 month promo code if you google it
Yeah I have. I actually like iRacing a lot because it's simple, and racing where if you die in the game you die in real life is so much more engaging than racing against the AI. I got the 3 months for $5 about a month ago. I don't have a lot of time to play iRacing as it's massively time consuming, so I don't have much "wheel time" or whatever you want to call it. I got out of rookies last weekend after 3 races and 2 time trials. My enthusiasm quickly hit a brick pay wall though when I noticed that I needed to buy either a 10 dollar car or 15 dollar track to do anything new. I'm not sure if I'll renew when time runs out because I have a hard time keeping up with the series. I kept driving in rookies when I had my D license and ranked up enough to reach C class, so I never bought any D class content. If you reach D 4.0 then you can do a C class race or two and be promoted on the spot.
