Can you turn off the zoom in when space beasts are around?
Well that was fun.
Was doing a solo Insane Maze Space Beast Terror Fright run, and I noticed a distinct lack of enemies.
I went to ther other side of the map, to be greeted with 2-3 massive rooms connected to each other with almost every breach in that map in them.

There was that many Xeno's spawning that I could not break through, and they used up 3 turrets ammo in less than 5 minutes.

You can tone the muzzle flashes right down. I just like to keep them on full to give the authentic 'cant see shit so ima keep firing' Aliens theme.
Had a really fun race on a Mountain bike course I made in GTA V. Its a very hard race and I was proud of myself to make it down the mountain in one piece.

The strength of the FOV pulsing can be adjusted, same for the muzzle effect.
I picked it up and played for a little bit. After going through five marines, I finally managed to get one to actually complete their mission.

I'm actually quite proud of that given that my first two marines lasted only about a minute each, and my third like four and a half. She needs another battery upgrade, another pathfinder upgrade, and another motion detector upgrade to be maxed out.
I'll probably get home, play a mission, and she'll get ambushed right out of the airlock.

I hoped for a proper sequel too. But I am playing on the PC. 1080p@60!
So a while ago (by which I mean over a year ago now) I decided to play Zoo Tycoon 2 with a bunch of mods, partially because that's all I played from something like age 8 to 12 and I suffer from early onset extreme nostalgia syndrome, and partially because I was curious how the modding community for an ancient game from a dying genre was doing (actually pretty damned well, though you wouldn't think so from the screenshots).
I built a big savannah zoo, using the base from the Endangered Species addon with the big conservation area where you can't build, but can place animals. First thing I built after placing some toilets and crap was a crocodile exhibit and some other stuff off to the left of the entrance. I also built a path up to the conservation area on the far side of the zoo, and put down a couple elephants and a few ostriches.
Not long after, I notice that there's a lot of guests looking at the elephants, but exactly none at the crocodile enclosure. I love reptiles, so I will not stand for people just ignoring them like that. I moved the food and bathrooms towards the crocodiles, and there's [I]still [/I]no one there. So I break the path to the elephant exhibit.

I moved the path to the elephants so it went by the crocodiles, but they just march on by.

Eventually I broke the path again and put down a Spinosaurus, which is when I realize these people just [I]hate [/I]crocodiles.

I eventually [del]butchered[/del] released the elephants and replaced them with rhinos and oryxes and stuff. They were jerkoffs anyways, they freaked out and broke all the trees in the conservation area for some reason, and since I can't build in it I couldn't replace them, and since the trees were gone they couldn't find any privacy and got angry and broke more trees.
Also those ostriches bred like mad, to the point it made the other animals upset and hungry, because of a mod that gave them realistic clutch sizes so they laid like 7 eggs each.

Also I found a floating head [sp]ignore the llama it is not important[/sp], and this annoying Dinosaur Santa that a mod secretly added got stuck on a fence and never left my park, so I had to quarantine that corner due to the incessant jingling.

The game is dragon's dogma on pc with multiplayer. I'm pretty happy with it. Content isn't locked behind a paywall, you buy customization shit and xp boosts if you want. (But you can gamble or some shit for good items but fuck that) Also you play in local instanced worlds so you only play with the people you want anyway and if somebody has overpowered p2w shit you don't have to play with them anyway.

How did you even get into the game? I thought it was japan exclusive?

You need a vpn to make an account and to download the launcher. Once the game itself starts downloading through the launcher you can disable the vpn to get better speeds. Then turn it on again and launch the game, once the game starts, turn off vpn and voilà, Dragon's Dogma on PC. Not noticing any lag either, the ping bars are green. Also it is an open beta this weekend and the game officially launches on the 30th apparently.
The game is great, it even features tactical defensive stances.
