[t]http://i.imgur.com/QcPkgSc.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/gnVsC3k.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/5ydwRRU.jpg[/t] The game is Ether One, the PS4 edition This is one of those game where I play for a bit and then I'm not sure if I should continue or not (something that happens rarely). To be more precise: - While at first the painting-like design of the environments is interestig and plesant to look at, the more you progress in the game the more you find it bland and it doesn't help matters that, despite its simplicity, there are several issues (low textures, delayed textures download and the kind) - Instead of having an inventory like every adventure game ever, you can carry one item at a time. Since later the game's puzzles require more items, you'll start to get annoyed. The game allows you to teleport to your "base" at any time to store items there, but having to sit through the loading screens isn't the best solution - The game is really obscure in everything. As in most of the time I don't know what I'm supposed to do or where I'm supposed to go. It doesn't help that the puzzles are counter intuitive most of the time (something I absolutely loathe in an adventure game), items menagement is annoying (see above) and it's hard to keep track of everything you find (as an example, in one of the first areas you find a code to a safe. Note that you can't just collect the paper where the code is upon: this mean that when you'll find the safe much later you'll have to remember that bloody code, if you didn't go ahead and wrote it down) Granted, these design choices, as I understand, were made to enhance the general dementia theme of the game, but if you ask me a game's artistic direction should NEVER be at the detriment of gameplay
You'd think, given the cartoony art style, they'd avoid shit like this.
The FSAA in that game is WAY too strong.
I really hope the Battlefront 3 is something like this. I really do.
You can find plenty of gameplay videos online. That should show you what it is like. I enjoyed playing the Alpha.
The FSAA in that game is WAY too strong.
I have to correct you a bit here: FXAA (which you meant) shouldn't be confused with FSAA. FSAA is the same as SSAA, and literally is the best form of antialiasing (in terms of quality, not performance), while FXAA is pretty much just a blur filter that has miniscule performance cost. I've made a handy comparison, since this conversation pops up now and then. No AA = Jaggies! FXAA = Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing - Picture is softened, but image accuracy is reduced FSAA = Full Scene Anti-Aliasing - Improved accuracy and readability SSAA = Super Sampling Anti-Aliasing (same as FSAA)

(Additionally, I hate to be that guy, but a lot of FSAA/SSAA implementations will blur the screen just as bad as FXAA if not more just because of the filter used. If you force SSAA in Nvidia Control Panel or RadeonPro it's literally just going to take a simple average of the pixels, which will blur the shit out of any small detail that isn't text.)

faking injury simulator
managed to hold off attacks for an hour and a half against all hard americans and racked up enough resources to rush their base with panthers. one of the crazier games i've played in coh god i didnt even realize before how stupidly big the hud is
faking injury simulator
tbf you have to dive in football for the ref to see. they don't allow the referee to watch replays or anything so they have to go off what they (and the linesman) have seen, and so sometimes you have to make a fuss to get the whistle blown
lmao why not? Are they literally afraid of fairness?
Seems like it. Pretty sure American football referees watch replays. Doesn't make sense to not watch them, even if it might take a little longer to get a verdict.
Attila Total War, Saxons (green) vs Jutes (blue) Its about 398 AD and I'm playing as the Saxons, having invaded southern England years prior and wiped out the Roman occupation, I've decided to march north and expel the Viking invaders [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/696157805909583969/CB6978C0D88D41AA7E81D3D166AE3A6BE6487132/[/t] The battle is a stalemate for the first few minutes until I manage to kill the Jute King, causing the entire army to rout. However, the Jute Champion remains: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/696157805909602632/8BDDF76AA89370EA47493562F4FE84B0CE62662A/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/696157805909604036/ADECC3798FEB054CA36DF97C95C4CB130DBE3F02/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/696157805909606704/0A71C0AB89D8D3387D015C7DFADF43776891419C/[/t] [sp]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=442852150 This mod[/sp] This guy is utterly fearless and is basically a one-man unit with high enough stats to kill more than a few guys without breaking a sweat. I've got him surrounded by 300 or so warriors, including the Saxon General's bodyguards, but I'm not ready to let him kill my general and the spearmen he's up against are poorly fitted for taking him down. He's carving someone in half about every 3 seconds. His final tally is 26 kills.
damn i was hoping that was a warband mod
ZOMBI is actually decent looking, the more you look at it. People say they didn't really touch the graphics in the port, but I think they did. All I hate about it so far is that the options are SERIOUSLY lacking (both sound and graphics) and on my regular survivor save, it crashes after entering a new area, so I had to start over with the Hardcore survivor and I've gotten pretty far just on one life... Its stressful. [t]http://i.imgur.com/HXPBVgB.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/JW1Y6La.jpg[/t]
lmao why not? Are they literally afraid of fairness?
it's just the way it has always been, they know it's an issue and know that things will be fixed if they change it but it's a pretty major part of the sport

Got around to play Penumbra, the old project from Frictional Games and an ancestor of Amnesia [t]http://i.imgur.com/aQVcHdp.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/lgH1jBP.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/NmodO1w.jpg[/t]
Penumbra is a good game
lmao why not? Are they literally afraid of fairness?
Pretty much. There's so much bitching already with goal-line technology. Hell, Sepp Blatter, FIFA's president(and now known corrupt asshole), bitched about it because it "took away the human element" and "fans like to debate mistakes"(yeah he said that). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/england/7857951/England-v-Germany-Frank-Lampards-goal-reignites-goal-line-technology-debate.html This is what professional soccer is now, it's not a sport, it's a TV show where the only thing that matters is the size of the audience and the money that comes with it, the drama that these mistakes bring gives them that, fair play doesn't.
Penumbra is a good game
better than amnesia imo
omfg that chromatic aberration is actually cancerous
There's like litterally no point of adding it to the game.
