Okay so these scripts reduced my load times quite a lot in Narodnaya Solyanka OP-2. I've tested it with DMX 1.3.5 and OP-2 it works quite well and it [B]may[/B] work in DMX 1.3.2 as well. So I was doing this task in the swamps in stalkersoup. I had to get the brains from a ''Unique controller'' for the clear sky faction. I sprinted trough the swamps right to the controller and blasted him in the face with an automatic shotgun. This was not before the controller could injure strelok with some special psy-attacks. When I wanted to deliver the brain I ran into a clear sky rookie and noticed clear sky started to kill me on sight. I shot the rookie in his legs, crippling him, and went to cordon to see Sivorich because you can make him bribe factions in stalkersoup. When I went back to cordon the loners in the village also started shooting at me, so I massacred the entire village. I decided to look up my reputation on the PDA and noticed my group changed to ''Zombie'' due to the controller encounter. Perhaps I'll go along with it and make my way to the wish granter massacring everyone on my way.

It's crazy how much this guy's optimization of _g.script has sped things up. Where'd you find this?

Last time, I wound up in a veritable pile of Russian mystery runes and gave up. I need to have a good go at a SOUP-style mod again, that isn't the same SOUP I souped through last time.

Do NOT use the Computerized Guns xrGame.dll from that download, it's infected with a virus. The rest of the mod is clean, however. DMX 1.3.2 dkz02 has a very good translation - it's a real pity that subsequent translators didn't start with DKZ's translation. It does lack the subsequent bells and whistles added to the JPs, including the Collector mod and the Master Addon, but obviously has all of NS in it. I uploaded a copy to [url]http://www.moddb.com/mods/ns-dmx-dkz02[/url] (and just added this _g.script as a separate download).

Yeah, crouch and move slow so the mine detector can disarm them. That or try and jump on those rocks to get over them.

Something about 21000 boars causing 350mb more ram usage and detectors animations working externally (other players see you using it). Just check pics.

Aligning weapon models to sit right in player / NPC hands is such a pain in the ass when done through manually editing the configs. Is there a tool out there somewhere to get it done faster?

They're the very last 2 tables in the file, easy to copy back in. The two are still in use in both DMX dkz02 and NS JP PLO K MA.

It's still possible to add the weapon section temporarily to attachable_items list in m_stalker.ltx for it to appear in the UI list. But since you want the offset for weapons you will have to manually write the offsets down and enter them in the offsets in the weapon config. It can be opened in-game (CoC leak that is) with insert by default while in debug mode. It will attach to nearest NPC.

It doesn't even do anything, doesn't make a sound, doesn't bother anyone, just floats there and sways gently in the breeze. I find this to be the most disturbing encounter I've had in the series. EDIT: On an unrelated note, for anyone using OWR3 or the OWR3 add-on for CoC who noticed the Striker / Protecta sights being off to one side, change the -0.15 after "aim_hud_offset_pos" and "aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9" into -0.149, that should fix them. I've been out of the loop on STALKER for a bit, now I feel like it is time for another STALKER binge. Does anyone know a fun mod for CoP that includes freeplay, maps from SoC and CS, and added quests/content? Would be nice if it was well-polished, but as long as there is Russian wizardry involved I won't be too picky. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations.
