One gun (i forget which) and sight combo (its one of the red dots) is glitched so you can spam removesight and get a million of them to sell
Does the STALKER modding tools allow weather lighting changes? Ambient, directional, sky, fog, bloom, etc?

Do these look bad? The only thing I'm doing is forcing AA with my GPU because X-Ray's AA is old tech (basically blur).

I get the same on some maps during sunny weather in particular, and everything is at max. Setting default colour balance and whatsit from the AF3 menu seemed to fix some of it. I'll have to do a clean install again and do some more thorough before/after testing.

Also what's with the supernova light sources? Have to shoot nearly every lamp to save my eyes from melting.
check bloomsettings and sun hemi and amb or turn off r2_allow_r1_lights but that will kill fires and some other lights. EDIT: Instead check r2_tonemap in the console. With the right settings you can have R1 lights on and not burn your eyes out.
So yeah the AI in CoC is retarded. I murdered all the mercs in Dead city with like 80 rounds of 5.56. Also how do I get it workign on Steam? Adding it to steam non-steam games doesnt work as it launches a different exe file after running CoC.exe.
Set the target of the link to \_bin\xrEngine.exe and the working directory in the root of CoC. You will have to rename the fsgame_coc.ltx to fsgame.ltx. This lets you circumvent having to use the stalker-coc.exe and launch xrengine directly. It also fixed prompting UAC for me and having to play as an administrator. I could use some advice from somebody who knows how the alife works in detail. So I've been trying to cope with the lack of faction war by increasing the companion limit to about a hundred and do large freedom raids on the Dark Valley bandit base. I divided the troop to stay both there and at the small camp in the south, by the Darkscape levelchanger. Over shorter periods they stay there just fine, but after a day or two they just get replaced by bandits. Is this a simulation thing, where they actually get counterattacked and defeated while the map is offline, or do they "expire" and just get replaced? I hope the 1.6 github fixs that. COC uses that.

DX11 can take 40 seconds to a minute depending on the map which i cannot stand even though it's the initial load

there's really no benefit to DX11 in CoP other than a SLIGHT performance increase and, uhhh, tessellation I guess? It's bugs outweigh the benefits of actually using it. Though to be fair a few of the visual bugs could be easily fixed just by doing an if statement checking for DX11 in the same areas as DX10. [editline]2nd October 2015[/editline] I used to play on DX11 almost exclusively because of the 'maximum' shadow quality and I recently learned that actually works in DX10.1 so there's no point anymore lol
