I've already finished the AK74, sorry, lol. I was too busy playing V+ to check back in.
Anyway, on the topic of new ammo types; I'm not aiming for realism in any way. For that, stalker isn't the right base to begin with. I aim for fun and moreover, diversity.
Hell, I've made all vanilla artefacts unique in both models as stats and added another what ... 43 on top??? [URL="http://www.moddb.com/mods/vanilla/news/blog-update1"]I've got 78 unique artefacts[/URL]. Adding another ammo type is nothing in comparison, lol.
I was working on the L85 skin from r_pop's OWR now. I'm doing OWR weapons because I'm using his OWR for SHoC. I might adapt it to CoP later on, as an additional skin package. The tip you gave me was perfect, purisdavid. It looks really good with the traditional polymer grip.

Critique time.
The pictures feature the addition of the 7n6 inspired ammunition, if you guys don't like the new ammo I can revert back. Vote Artistic if you like the new ammo, informative if you'd like me to revert back.
Green looks a bit too light in my opinion
plum looks really nice tho
Yeah I double checked it and it's too light compared to the original AKS-74 green furniture used in the vanilla game. Give me a minute here.
Green and black look good, though I agree green is too bright. Dark green would look nice. Grey would work too if it was a bit darker.

It's a tad bit darker but it's harder to see in comparison.
Perhaps a slightly more purple tinge to the plum furniture.
Another thing is that despite the rusting of parts that can easily collect dew and the edge-wear; it's too clean and lacking in scratches.
Buckles on a backpack and a combat vest can scratch the gun, not to mention the exterior of an exoskeleton-suit.
When I did the plum furniture I looked it over a minute to make sure it was about as spot on as I could get it compared to my AK-74. It's damned near close to be honest.

Plum one looks great. Maybe make magazine darker? And metal lid could look better darker aswell.
Green one would look better if the whole gun was lighter

'cuz the colors are matte instead of shiny.
That and trying to make it look right is being a bitch for me, I keep trying to go back and forth between the texture and that image reference.

May I ask as to what nature textures are being used in that?
i pulled the beta vegetation from an old oblivion lost mod and dropped them in my soc

I tried to but the textures were kinda bad looking with ambient occlusion
Maybe I'll fuck with the SDK sometime and set up custom build.details for a few maps in CoC

[I]It's been a while since our last upload, but here's a taste of one of the (very comprehensive) new interiors coming in Wormwood - the Jupiter Plant Workshops.
The Workshop building at the rear of the plant complex previously had a total of three interior rooms - you may remember finding some Underpass documents in the storage rooms on the second floor.
The building now has twelve rooms, varying from electrical workshops to their ancillary office space, as well as more storage!
Additionally, the Underpass documents have moved, and you may need to confront an angry resident to obtain them...[/I]
