So I just realized in AO3, they just reskined the AKS-74 world model for the AKS-74N(Newer model AKS-74 with plastic furniture) EXACTLY like how I did that skin pack for OWR3's AKS-74.

So Fallout 4 has god rays that aren't screen space, very similar to STALKER's sun rays effect.
They also run like shit, unless you put them on low, but they look exactly the same. Exactly like STALKER's

So.. Playing Doom's Mod Merge: Anon Edition Extended and.. This just started happening today. I've had the mod for 2 days and it hasnt done anything like this.
I have uninstalled the mod, it. Uninstalled the game, reinstalled both. I have cleared all my saves. Everytime I start a new one it's always doing this. I tried it without the mod and it didn't do this, but with it, it does and it only just started.
So, stalkers, what do you say? How do I fix this?
As great as a suit made of guns is, I would like to fix this.
The x,y coords for the suit's icon are screwed up. Look at ui_equipment_icons.dds in Photoshop or Gimp, apply a 50x50 grid overlay and look for the actual suit icon's top right corner. The coords of that are what you should replace in the relevant file (configs/misc/outfits.ltx, lines inv_grid_x and inv_grid_y). The X and Y size lines for the icon would appear to be correct, so don't need to bother with those. I don't off-hand remember what the suit's in-file name is, though.

The god rays in FO4 are basically cut 'n paste from the NVidia Gameworks' SDK. Alongside the TAA and bokeh DoF. :v:

Well. IT's not just the suit. All of my items are like that. All of the bandit's items are like that too and it just started last night.
The only thing different that I have done was I changed the game to low. I ws fine before I did that, but someone on reddit suggested changing the textures to high again.
Turning the textures back up fixed it. Sorry to bother you guys, but thank you for the help, Doom.

I wanna see proof, I need a cheap laugh today.
The texture problem can also be caused by the fact that someone saved the ui files with mipmaps. What happens is that when you lower texture quality, the mipmaps will fuck up the icons. Open it with paint.net and save it as DTX5 without mipmaps. Should fix the problem and allow you to run lower quality options.

Why is this worth a laugh exactly?
That's what the Gameworks thing is there for, it's to make it easy to apply these effects. GTA V uses the same implementation for their sunshafts, too.

Great, I get a new PC and migrate things, now I can't run Call of Chernobyl because I'm missing msvcr120.dll, though I have installed the Visual C++ redistribution file.
Is TFW still the GO TO mod for Clear sky or is there something good going on? I don't remember /what/ mod that I have installed, all it says in the corner is Voron 1.1? But I dont remember installing just that, I think that is apart of another mod.. Anyway.

Not really sure where to ask for help about this one, Ive been having a blast with CoC up until now. I've come across a hard crash that has stopped my progress. upon going through the level transition from NPP to Zaton, I get this string of errors out of the xray log...

For mods I am running Absolute Nature/Structures and AO3, all of them setup for CoC.
Why can't a STALKER 2 exist already. 3 best games I've played in my life but they lose their appeal after all these years.
