I just never really see it take effect other than huge LMGs, sniper rifles, or launchers. It should probaby be more noticeable across everything, with SMGs and pistols being the easiest to aim and use, and AR's being harder to use indoors because of slower aiming.

Are places like skadovsk and yanov gonna have more outdoor lighting? I was playing with the warfare addon for CoC, which is reminiscent of faction wars for Clear Sky, and I started a playthrough as Clear Sky. After an arduous campaign we had driven the military from the swamps. I had just sold the artifacts I had collected when I looked at the map... somehow the loners had taken over all of the smart terrains except our base and a few outposts. Our squads were still there, but somehow the deeds had gone to the loners. :suicide: So I changed the faction relations so that Clear Sky and the Loners were at -1000 mutual relations. After another few arduous campaigns (including one where the fishing village became stalingrad vs the army) we became the owners of the swamps and cordon. Having secured our corner of the zone, I edited the file again to normalize relations. Now there are many fewer loners trying to squat on our territory! Now the faction AI wants to take the Garbage, which is solidly owned by Duty (I set it up so we fight them too. I also set Freedom to neutral vs us and set Freedom and the Mercs to war.) I plan to take a strong squad into Agroprom and spearhead the way, enouraging the AI to follow. After that I will disable the Miracle Machine and then the Brain Scorcher. Incidentally, I named my character Strelok :v: Sidenote: I strongly expect the ecologists to steal/squat on smart terrains until the zone is theirs.
Does anybody know how to fix this? A while back I made a SoC trailer music mod for CoC for combat music, but sometimes when I kill people the music just loops forever until i exit the level.

From my experience with the warfare addon I would say it is definitely worth a try! I am playing with the latest version of CoC. I installed AO3 on top of that, then the AO3 hotfix, then the latest version of the warfare addon (I forget the version number, I am afraid; it is probably going to be rapidly updated in any case) Edit: I got all these from ModDB

these sort of small and nonintrusive animations are what really make games immersive imo. long eating animations like misery are dumb, but something that lasts just a few seconds should help with immersion.

Like reaching out to pick stuff up or open a door, animations for using items. I'm so glad that Gunslinger is adding so many things like that.
