I love it. It's like Doom 3's PDA animation except even faster.

Well, now all I picture is a stalker using his PDA by shoving the screen against his eyeballs! But seriously, I love that kind of stuff.
So, taking a small break from that leather trenchcoat man to work on some other possible new stalkers. This is a WIP loner. The new fatiques need to be cleaned, repainted in some areas, and colored the classic neutral brown/green we all know and love. tbh that PDA might be the one thing that I don't need animated I open the thing up so damn often that a animation might get a bit tiring to wait through that few couple of seconds If custom player markers become a thing (or something else that helps navigation without the PDA) then I think I'd be fine with it though.

In CoC with the Warfare addon I started a game as the monolith recently. I decided to roleplay as Strelok as if he had been brainwashed and became a monolith soldier during the end of SoC. I visited the generators for my first time ever and stood in awe of the source of the blowouts. I also went into the Monolith war labs (beware the mines marked with sticks surrounding the entrance) and discovered that it was the home of at least one hub of the C-Conciousness. After I emerged I called in squads to colonize the generators, as well as the north and south NPP areas. We followers of the monolith now control most of the northern zone. So many squads. So brown, so grey, so tan. I finally was able to purchase a Monolith exo-suit to go along with my AEK-973 and HK G3SG/1. I am now ready to spread the crusade for the monolith to the southern edge of the zone! Also A rad srcubbing artifact is essential! They are hard to find unless you rush to the claw anomaly or randomly loot them off a dead foe. Beard, Owl, Nimble, Cardan and some generic medic all don't seem to mind the monolith personnel who now are the only facton allowed into the Skadovsk, and the same is true in Yanov Station. However, Nitro is missing. I cannot tell if he was killed for his Duty sympathies or if he decided to return to his day job as Vladimir Putin. My favorite part is the monolith squads praying to the monolith from inside Skadovsk and Yanov Station. Although they don't have those big junk antennas there, their imaginations have a lot to work with:science101::facemelt::tinfoil:

the worst thing would be those great mega mods lasting 2 or 3 hours gameplay wise.... IT would be like Paranoia for Half Life. Replaying it all over and over again. Or those demos you played as a kid. You tried to extract all the juice from them.
The Army warehouses have fallen to our monotonous horde! It was mostly a slugout in the center between monolith and the mercs, who had taken most of the territory, with a few freedom squads skirmishing with us. With my G3 sharpshooter I shot quite a few merc squads from the hill next to the barricade. Even standard 7.62x51 ammo will tear through exo suits nicely! There is a reason they call him Strelok! (Darth Strelok) Moving into the base was anti climactic, there were several freedom holdouts but every other merc and freedom soldier was dead. With this logistic hub we will continue our conquests. I need to head back and get my faction interested in taking the Pripyat Outskirts though. The faction AI has been ignoring it the whole time

You got my vote ;) Also I really like the impaled corpse of that loner, it adds more of a gruesome atmosphere to the game. That's why I kind of liked the entrance to X-16 so much in SoC. It showed me that I wasn't the first STALKER to try and make my way in there. It also made me that much more terrified to go down that first set of stairs.

Everyone looks just a bit too fresh and a bit more signs of people going absolutely mental inside the facility would be OK. That dude crushed beneath the BTR, though. Jesus Christ.
The Red Forest (Radar) also had the same attempt at being gruesome but it was more toned down than X-16. Skulls impaled on sticks at the entrance was also pretty scary especially because on my first play through I went at night! Also I gotta agree with the guy crushed by the BTR, I felt terrible for that poor soul.
