Will this bridge have anything beyond it or is it still the same? I always thought it felt kinda disappointing in vanilla CoP because it was really just a visual/barrier for the edge of the map

Playing vanilla Call of Prypiat.
On my way back to Yanov station I noticed all stalkers leaving the building. It turned out that there's a Controller INSIDE the station. He's in the room with Nitro and Senka. I can't do anything because "put dat shooter away first". Is there any way to evict it? I can't stand this constant static noise and UGHHH UGHHH UGHHH. The rest of the station's residents doesn't mind him one bit.

Only think i can think of, you should mod the game to remove weapon restrictions. Have a look at this :

After you save yourself from the situation, you may remove the mod and keep playing or keep it.

IMO, slightly too droning to fit. Night themes have usually been quieter in the games, and don't have a constant drone to them like this. It's a great piece of ambient work, reminds me of a darker version of the movie's soundtrack actually, but it doesn't fit the game in my mind.
Maybe in-game it'd sound better, though.
Yeah the droning sounds better if it were to fit the underground sections better.
Replaying Misery, reach the Iron Forest and quit after 20 tries.

Really really digging this, but I think you can scale down the non-musical samplings like the faint radio chatter a little though because I feel that space will be filled by ingame sounds and noises, it might smother the player in audial impressions an inch too much.

It's nowhere near as bad as the vanilla soundtrack for CoP, as far as that goes. Pripyat and Jupiter are the worst offenders. Playing CoP, I just turn off the in-game music and play an external STALKER playlist instead, full of Mooze and assorted dark ambient.

CoP's soundtrack never had the same feel to me. Too...I dunno, noisy... MoozE's tracks always made for a [I]wonderful[/I] ambiance without being repetitive or loud about it.
I accidentally messed up some cfg files and my game won't load. Can anyone upload the newest Misery versions of the files "monsters.ltx" and "actor.ltx" in gamedata\configs\creatures? I'd appreciate it.

I really liked CoP's combat music. The intro and outro tracks were also worth listening to.

I couldn't stand CoP's combat music. It felt incredibly generic - just some faux orchestral score and guitar shredding.
The intro and outro tracks were pretty alright.
I never ever played with combat music. Really put me off and broke the atmosphere

Yeah, only exception is some of Clear Sky's, which I believe was actually made by MoozE. Clear Sky combat music was nice but really buggy. I listen to it outside of the game (as I do to other STALKER stuff like ambiance apart from CoP).

Can somebody explain how come these guys are doing things, with such a level of quality never seen before? Because I'll be damned if any other game has that level of detail.
How come? Aliens? ex KGB coders bored doing something in their free time? Slavic wizards? A C-Consciousness devoted to updating STALKER?
This is great, but the more stuff they add like this the more I fear it will be incompatible with other mods, especially COC.
Fucking hell you can get rid of the minimap and legit use that new PDA in far mode in its place
