Not a whole lot (if we're talking CoC only)

When I was still with MISERY, we gave localisation the #1 spot on our to-do list, because as a mod team, you want everyone to have equal fun with the mod. It's not a difficult concept. While spoken on a worldly level, English isn't a language everyone completely grasps. As an example, Chinese could be as unfamiliar to you and me as English is for French speaking people.

I thought people in France were good at it and being bad at English was just a dumb stereotype? Even Mandarin would make more sense because there are many speaking it.

You would be surprised how many French stalkers are out there. A good majority of my web traffic comes from France. Two developers on TeamEPIC are French and almost a third of the testers were French. StalkerFrance.com is up there in popularity (or at least was at one point) among stalker.pl and ap-pro.ru, I think.
Trust me, in reality, French people are much worse at English than you'd expect them to be. There's a distinct generation gap I assume. Only if you'd be looking at my generation and below that age, you'd see a difference in % of English speaking native French people. I've been going to France for years on end now every summer and I still have to speak French to people who're my age or a little older (19). I don't know if they [I]dont want[/I] to speak English, or if it's really something else, but I've been to several places where even in moderately big shopping centres no one would speak English to me, not even if I asked in French if they spoke English. I'd usually get the "Non, je ne parle pas bien Anglais monsieur :("

For coc, is there a .ltx file i can edit somewhere that will let me sell less-than-perfect equipment?
Go into gamedata\configs\misc\trade and edit "buy_item_condition_factor". Lower = less better equipment with 1.0 being only 100% perfect and 0.0 = traders buying everything

20 years of LoNer1. It feels like quite the achievement, really. Having that "1" turned into a "2". Anyways, I'm not posting only to announce my Bday, I'm also whipping up a small compilation / fixes mod for the CoC + Warfare + AO users here. It includes a modified HUD, some small tweaks to prices and other stuff (including the missing unique burst shot mode of the AN94 / AK12 in AO!) Ill have it ready soon, hopefully.

So I got that gas mask along with a hose that I thought would have been neat for a Monolith-stalker cosplay. This thing is manufactured in 1944-1945 and it shows. The lenses have an inner layer of what I assume to be silicone due to its orange tint and the outer glass lenses are full of cracks. It looks like it'd be very well suitable for a snork.

The removal of the equipped-blocks is good, since STALKER automatically highlights the boundaries of the items when you hover over them. If anything, replace back/take-all buttons with material similar to the rims, but brighter of course. (steel texture?)
