I have a strange problem with CoC + AO3.1. Some Russian weapons don't want to accept scopes. For example, in AN-94 description, scopes like PSO scope and some other ones are listed as compatible, but said scopes are not highlighted in the inventory when I hover over the rifle, nor they will attach. When I go to the weapon smith, he has no option for scope mount. Other scopes on other weapons work fine.
unmount all other scopes and double click them while the weapon is in the first inventory slot (right one)
unmount all other scopes and double click them while the weapon is in the first inventory slot (right one)
Yes, it works with all other scopes except PSO and some other russian ones.
Yes, it works with all other scopes except PSO and some other russian ones.
That's really weird. All scopes work for me on the AN94 listed in its description. Which version are you running? The one from the moddb page recently uploaded?

I'll try reinstalling and installing those things one by one to see which one causes the problem. [editline]24th January 2016[/editline] Alright, so this is a bit strange, but here's what happened: even after clean reinstall, it didn't want to work. As a last resort, I placed the rifle into the left slot, scope attached (yay), and after that it works in either slot.

I don't understand why but I find it really neat and funny in Warfare how your faction replaces traders and mechanics at bases. Plus seeing some random Monolith shout ALOHA at you in Yanov with a bar full of troops acting casual but speaking monotone about the Monolith to each other is great in its own way.
Due to some demand, here's two versions without the logo: Here you go, v1ld!
Thanks! These are great. 1920x1200 is perfect, too. Cheers.

Ever drop a Pellicle artifact on the ground? Do it. Going through old videos and screenshots and shit and found this, from May 1st 2007. It's still cute.

I was 11 at the time. Played it with a g6200 256mb, 1gb ram and a amd xp +2400 1.9ghz. All low, 800x600, fps were 30ish at most. Still played the fuck out of it. I remember reading the gamefaqs guides before buying the game. Shit, i cant believe how I hyped this game. I hope that theres a game that can recreate or improve stalker atmosphere once again.

I dunno why but I just randomly remembered Eggchen's Particle Enhancement mod and I kinda wanna port the bullet impact fx forward to CoC, and maybe try and improve them a bit (make the smoke linger if possible, make the shit collide with the world/etc like kingo's old mod for SoC)

The sad part is, I cant post to 4chan for some reason, so everyone over there is going apeshit again lol.
So I found out something interesting. SoC's (maybe the others too) DirectSound3D implementation is miles ahead of OpenAL in terms of positional sound, sound obstruction, and the quality of the (still shitty) EAX 2.0 effects (that only work in army warehouses in vanilla so eh) Kind of funny, really. On the flipside the engine is extremely picky about the featuresets supported, and I could only get certain versions of ALchemy to play nice. indirectsound, newer versions of ALchemy, C-Media's XEar3D (aka Xonar GX 2.5) all crash the game. I'm sure on native X-Fi or old Audigy hardware under Windows XP it probably all works out of the box... [editline]29th January 2016[/editline] In other words "man X-Ray has some old fucking shit in it"

Had a plugin PCI-e audigy soundcard with some cool presets and the AWESOME thing was; If I made a preset in audigy, saved it, let audigy's tool open, open up the SDK and look at the sound editor (in the shader editor), ALL MY AUDIGY PRESETS were listed in there! I could directly import ALL different presets into the engine and it would work 1:1 in-game. It was really awesome. Too bad there's no software for W7 or later, so I had to let go of the card :(

And by the time it came out the little DirectSound3D support it did have was irrelevant anyway. It's just a shame XRay's OpenAL implementation is so fucking shit by default. The sound panning is crap, positional audio is non-existent, 'stereo' sounds are broken, EAX is completely broken (not like it matters because EAX 2.0 is garbage + only one level has snd_env stuff), occlusion is broken, the list goes on. [editline]29th January 2016[/editline] There is a small mod called EnvFX that actually helps a lot with a few of those issues, but it's mostly by replacing the OpenAL implementation with what looks like a version based on OpenAL-Soft with some custom modifications for X-Ray exclusively. Only problem is that it only works properly on the binaries it's made for. Any modded binaries will probably fail to load (this includes CoC, Lost Alpha, probably OGSE, etc etc)
So I couldn't just sit around and decided to do something again I'm getting good at this stuff. if I say so myself. [sp]I know the minimap needs to be centered along with the compass[/sp]
Is that Vanilla+? I check the ModDB page every now and again 9along with Lost Alpha) and both haven't been updated in a while. :(
