Even that google translate is hard to follow - so is he saying he\they have more interesting things to do, and DC is coming very soon?
I don't rage. I say come in, don't just stand there.
Anyone??
every passionate, humble, down to earth modder
Only guy I can think of that fits the bill of that is Doom. Had mad fun playing his mod too. Only one I can think of where you can play as actual Military/Mercenaries/Monolithians. Gum might make the list if he'd make some more damn side-ways guns. Also, Akinator is surprisingly good despite me saying Scar was both Russian, Ukrainian and possibly didn't have human skin.

So I want to replay call of pripyat, what makes the complete mod so bad?
So I want to replay call of pripyat, what makes the complete mod so bad?
Makes the game stupidly easier. Introduces more bugs and problems than it fixes. Etc. Must we go over this on each and every single page?
Gameplay issues aside, it's an out-of-date compilation of mods that actually makes the game less stable. If this is your second playthrough, maybe try Absolute Nature 3, Atmosfear 3, and MSO - it'll take a bit of merging, but it's not especially complicated. If you want new weapons, try Arsenal Overhaul 2.4.1. It's generally high quality (and included merge patches and the files for AN3, AF3 and MSO).
Must we go over this on each and every single page?
I thought that this is asked alot, but I don't check this thread regularly.
I thought that this is asked alot, but I don't check this thread regularly.
It's fine. It's just tiresome seeing this on EVERY page from at-least one person. It boggles the mind as to how they find out about the complete mod. Like how can something THAT bad be so prominent?

Many people don't understand that it's completely outdated bullshit and changes the gameplay to be way too easy.
Except all Doom did was merge LURK 1.1 and Freeplay Start... Freeplay Start being made by Xiani.
And i'm hardly passionate :v: If I were any more idle, i'd be in a coma.

It takes only a few mins to see how terrible Complete is and how disliked it is amongst those whom have played and followed stalker since the start and actually KNOW what they are talking about. You still put a lot of work into the Mod Merge. And it's a damn good mod merge. I'd say that counts. :v:
So I want to replay call of pripyat, what makes the complete mod so bad?
#1. It's pointless, you can get the graphical additions of it by just grabbing AtmosFear and the Absolute Texture Packs #2. It doesn't provide really anything interesting that would make the second playthrough more worthwhile i.e it's not a content mod. #3. Complete for CoP is known to break saves.
Freeplay Start being made by Xiani.
Hoping for Xiani's LA some day...
Oh. This day again... Also I'm watching over the Wormwood thread on AP Pro because OP most likely forgot about it. I accidentally aggro'ed some funny Missouri fanboy and holly shit he is so serious.

He's accusing you of bringing it upon yourself, what with an unrelated note about artificial difficulty in a thread that has nothing to do with Misery. Nice.

Then the SGM team(?) went and removed all the things, instead of fixing them themselves. [editline]7th February 2015[/editline] Also how long did it take for you to give up making your very own gangsta-wield mod?
My 12 year old cousin has over 140 hours in stalker SOC, so I decided to play some SOC after watching him Game aged well, jesus. a few questions: Can you hotkey items(like bandages and medkits and shit?) Does food serve a purpose besides health? Making sure there's no survival aspects like food and drink I've been missing. If not, are there any realistic needs mods? I may download it at a later date. Which difficulty is the game best enjoyed on? I started off on the max, and slowly worked my way down to normal difficulty after getting demolished. The game is still challenging, so thats a nice feeling. My apologies if these are really obvious answers, I didn't look up much about the game as it's probably best to enjoy it without too much information, but I'm sure these questions are innocuous.
In SHoC, you can't hotkey items other than bandage and medkits, sadly. The game is best played on Master. You'll experience the 'true' zone like this. Veteran stalkers like myself always advice newer players to play it on the highest difficulty so you get a true gasp of the zone, instead of novice where it's really easy. Lastly, food does serve a survival aspect. It's slow, but eventually it'll gradually chop away your health if you don't keep a close watch on it. It's not DayZ where you'll have to scavenge for food, because you can easily find it on NPCs who're common, but you can't forget about it, either. For instance, drinking energy will increase stamina, which you'll need in firefights. Stamina can be drained by fighting (lots of running around) and weirdly enough also by bullets. If you find yourself to be out of stamina in the wrong place at the wrong time, a few shots later you're done for. So always keep at least 2 / 3 energy bottles with you. And as always, happy hunting, stalker ;)
Has anyone ever made a mod where the damage is successfully realistic for both enemies and the player? Im sure if you wanted to you could do some calculations regarding what body armor with what rounds do what damage. If you can find or specify an amount of pressure on the target per square centimeter required for bruising, broken bones, body armor penetration and you know to what extent any given body armor type spreads out the impact energy of the bullet, you can probably get a rough estimate of everything.
Can you hotkey items(like bandages and medkits and shit?)
Not in SoC, although they are bound to [ and ], so you could, I think, go into the options menu and change the bindings.
If not, are there any realistic needs mods?
AMK makes it so that you'll die if you don't eat before you're super hungry. Even then it's like Loner1 said, you'll never really have a real shortage of food.
Which difficulty is the game best enjoyed on?
Master is the 'default' difficulty, all other difficulties are watered down from it.
Last ten minutes of Clear Sky were really underwhelming
Anyone else having trouble with Survarium not giving out new faction missions?
Last ten minutes of Clear Sky were really underwhelming
First 10 minutes were pretty cool though.
