You have a habit of showing other mod screenshots, so when you just show something out of the blue I tend to think it's from some mod. :v:

I've been meaning to get into stalker for so long now, and i finally tried to, but the game just stutters unbearably regardless of settings. Is there any fixes for this?
If it is ShoC, turn down AA to about 2x on the GPU and turn it off ingame. Setting to static lighting might help aswell, but I'd definetely try to get dynamic working, as it is really beautiful and makes up alot of the atmosphere.

Its the kinda of stutter you get when games are loading things in, so i installed it on my SSD and it didnt help, the only other games i get problems like that are open world games that arent optimized ala Bethesda and Skyrim/Fallout 3

Basically when you're farther the game is simulating what's happening and when you get in range, the game then physically loads those things.

What is the best Call of Pripyat mod out right now? I keep hearing about mods that are going to come out never.
What is the best Call of Pripyat mod out right now? I keep hearing about mods that are going to come out never.
Shoker. Reminder that I'm biased and will always say shoker no matter what.
What is the best Call of Pripyat mod out right now? Misery. Nice balanced gameplay, true to SoC and random bandits with RPG's? Redux 1. Graphics update? Reloaded. The list goes on.
How's mod compatibility in CoP like? Fr example, could I install Shoker and Redux and have everything work?
No, most mods aren't mergable unless the readme states so.

Wait, is RELOADED and Redux compatible at all?

The amount of stuff being processed is bigger, but it loads stuff less frequently since it got most stuff loaded already. See \gamedata\config\alife.ltx

Poop. Still waiting for Wormwood then.
no
You're breaking my heart. :( [editline]12th February 2015[/editline] I was bored today so I decided to give some love to the good old radiation warning sign, since the old texture is really low-res: And another version: This ain't quite finished but if one of you guys want to use it just tell me and I'll send you the PSD. Also, super ultra HD energy drink, because I do love to focus needlessly on small props:
I like it a lot!
Is there a way to turn down the artificial difficulty in Misery? I tried installing les miserables but that made my game unable to launch.
You're breaking my heart. :( [editline]12th February 2015[/editline]
I like it a lot, though I'm not quite sold on the choice of font - I think while they might use a clean, modern font like that on newer signs at checkpoints and cordons on the perimeter of the Zone, the signs you'd find in areas abandoned around the time of the Chernobyl disaster would have much cruder text - maybe a stencil.
Yeah the font is pretty much random at this point because I'm not sure which one will be fitting yet. I refered to these photos while making the texture but as you can see it's hard to figure how the text is supposed to look, it's one of the reasons I've made the alternate version in which the sign is much more decayed so that I can hide most of the text under much better looking decals. I think It would be neccessary to manually edit the levels so that I can use at least one or two variants of the base texture, depending on how old the sign is supposed to be.
