Just sent an application for working on Ultimate Weapon Renewal as an animator
Was the lack of much A-Life a design choice, or did something just get messed up on the modding end that left it stunted?
People have opened up the LA maps in level editors and found that the smart_terrains are completely fucked, and so are the A.I nodes around the maps, meaning that the NPCs would have problems traveling from one smart_terrain to another. Not to mention the respawners are shit : they usually fire only once, on top of the location(which means that NPCs don't travel after spawning) and with no regards to the distance from the player, so like the Car Park Bandits will spawn right on top of the player.
boring quests Ive seen.
I really want a chat with the guy whose idea was to take one of the most interesting combat environments(Dead City), set it up with a cool battle scene and then force the player sit in a cell while the combat plays itself out and not only do you not get to participate in it, but you don't even get to see it.

Part one of this endeavour is reworking the behaviour of mutants in the Zone, as well as altering the game's scripting and smart-terrains to allow for this. Here you can see a rare insight into the Wormwood Trello board, where we organise our activities - in this case, my plans for the behaviour of mutants in the mod. My overall aim for mutant behaviour is for a basis in realism, and improved interaction with Stalkers (and the player). Mutants should alternate between searching for food/territory in the day, and hiding/resting in their lairs at night (reversed for certain mutants, as in the image). In vanilla, there was no real distinction in these behaviours for some reason. What I've done is separate smart terrains into mutant territories, and mutant lairs. Territories are usually outside, and often places that Stalkers will camp during the day, or search for artifacts. Lairs are almost always inside buildings, sheds, or underground - Stalkers can sometimes camp at these locations overnight if they are too far from a proper 'base', but more information about Stalker behaviours in Part Two! Overall, these changes should make for more realistic mutant behaviour with certain mutants hiding indoors in the day and coming out at night to hunt, with others doing the reverse. Watch out when you venture down into that basement in the middle of the day, there may well be a bloodsucker waiting for night-time down there!
I thought that was GitHub for a sec there

I want all mods in there. The dog one looks amazing.
1:40 damn i want that mod
The blue flare thing? That's from Complete. Unless you mean the football thing.
Complete adds comets at night? That's really cool, honestly. Well, as long as it's something that only happens once a month in-game or something. Maybe a 1% chance overnight.
which complete because i never saw that in soc
Fresh out of the oven: Gunslinger update (only 10 min old!) [t]http://4put.ru/pictures/max/1091/3353302.jpg[/t] [t]http://4put.ru/pictures/max/1091/3353305.jpg[/t]

Instead of having the anti-rad in pill form, we decided to give up the tablets for we have more than enough, and wanted something original. Now this drug is a cartridge with a solution for intramuscular injection. Commissioning is carried out with the aid of a pistol-injector, which is an integral part of the belt(?), much like with the knife, binoculars, the geiger counter or PDA. Animation works with all visuals hand, most of which I have shown in the video.
*P.S - Shows a slightly altered camera movement for antibiotics. Changes are in conciousness and awakening.

I've recently teamed up with Koma, a genius in the field. Having several amazing repacks on his name (both russian as worldwide full versions of the game allowing multiple instals with 1.004, 05 and even 08 etc.), over 60GB of ultra quality sound data for whatever you can imagine. Give him a warm welcome!

Complete adds comets at night? That's really cool, honestly. Well, as long as it's something that only happens once a month in-game or something. I'm actually enjoying Call of Pripyat more than SoC. Is that bad?
I'm actually enjoying Call of Pripyat more than SoC. Is that bad?
nah CoP gameplay wise expanded on the first two in a really good way, especially with weapon progression that let you customise and upgrade your guns. that way you could have a cheapo gun that was really upgraded so it could compete with others. also, caches were changed to always have loot so now it's just a case of finding them rather than them having to be marked first.
Any recommendations on what overhaul mods there are? Is Misery+SMG good & Customizable? Welp, I downloaded Misery yet it won't launch, crashing when I try to start it up. :v:.
It happened every night at 4 AM in Complete for SoC. Might be thinking of ABC or some altered OL mod.
It happened every night at 4 AM in Complete for SoC. Quick question regarding the comet and it's effects. Could anyone turn it into a dimmer, static moon at night? I.e when there's a full moon every couple of day in in-game time or something. Would add a lot of atmosphere in my opinion.
I'm getting this error whenever I try to launch CoP with the new Arsenal Overhaul:
Expression : fatal error Function : CInifile::r_section File : .\Xr_ini.cpp Line : 502 Description : <no expression> Arguments : Can't open section 'beans'. Please attach [*.ini_log] file to your bug report
Anyone know what is going wrong? I'm thinking something with the download went wrong and am currently redownloading the mod.
Hey guys I want to do a run of SoC. Played it a hundred times, but never actually seen the Monolith so I want to do a full run. But I want to have some cool overhaul mod. What would you suggest? [editline]23rd February 2015[/editline] I will go with latest Lost Alpha

I would use ZRP and PRZ for an enhanced vanilla-like run.

A few other mods do this, too. AA2 has moonlight, it's faint, but there is.
A fresh install of CoP fixed my problem Nimble sells an MP5/10 in the new version of AO. awh yiss
Welp, got out of Cordon [t]http://s2.postimg.org/6c421i3vd/ss_borya_02_24_15_00_42_17_la02_garbage.jpg[/t] [sp]I didn't actually know you could leave it with an SVD. I just wanted to evade the roadblock and accidentally approached the SVD guy. Killed him with 2 slug rounds, got his rifle, finished all others with it.[/sp]
Man I got COP a while ago and just left it there sitting on my shelf and decided to play it today. I regret my decision of not playing it, this game is really fun.
1:40 damn i want that mod
As a first "modding" attempt for STALKER I converted that thing to Call of Pripyat very sloppily :v: I really had no clue what I was doing.
Holy hell that's awesome man.
What was it I had to edit in order to lower the minimum quality required on weapons in order to sell them?
I forgot how insanely easy SGM becomes lategame when you have too much money and fully-upgraded weapons and armour especially if you are rocking a scientist outfit with a FAL
