I'm loving the jam animations, it always felt a bit cheap in the originals were clearing a jammed weapon was just the reload animation again.
In SGM 2.2 I got this house indicator pop up. It's not like all the other indicators which are in the bottom right with my ammo, but on the side like. What does it mean? Apparently I was sleepy.
Do you guys know what Hide markers a and Hide markers b do in SGM 2.2 with the personal backpack? It doesn't seem to do much of anything. Also, why would you ever not want to hide the backpack with a radio and be able to pick it up?
I need some help in SGM 2.1 how do you either get into the mercenary camp in Jupiter or even join the mercenaries as a member?
I need some help in SGM 2.1 how do you either get into the mercenary camp in Jupiter or even join the mercenaries as a member?
There's a mission offered by a military contact that requires you to infiltrate the merc camp and gives you a merc suit with which to do so. Alternatively, you should be able to get hold of a merc suit if you turn on the option that makes NPCs occasionally drop suits.

Actually I did that mission but I just killed the mercenaries looted them made money. haha Thanks! Now I need to find a merc suit I sold the one SSU gives you.
Odellus, you really don't like me, do you? Also, Spectrum Project is pretty cool. I thought it would be an unfinished buggy project, but it's the contrary. I am liking it a lot
let's not descend into personal discussion yet again guys also hey Loner, any chance you could take a look at what's going on with the Wormwood ModDB page?
Holy hell.
That grenade detonates way too fast.
That grenade detonates way too fast.
That's because it's an impact grenade.
The models and textures in Gunslinger are amazing, but now it kinda sticks out compared to the textures in CoP. Is there going to be a mod that covers reworking the CoP textures? I know there's Absolute Nature and Structures, but while AN is good and helps cover the ground, I feel that AS is just a sharpen and bump.

I started playing Lost Alpha in an attempt to get back into STALKER, and got to the point where you'd normally look for Nimble in SoC, but the bandits aren't reacting to my presence. At all. Even if I shoot them several times from a few feet away. Is this a common thing or is something wrong? :v: [editline]asdf[/editline] I suppose that'll teach me for trying to go into a mod totally blind. All of the reviewers on Moddb hate it. I assumed some of the things that were problems were intentional. Guess I'll look for another mod.
feels dumb that enemy characters can draw and fire weapons in Bar (and possibly other weapon free zones) while you can't
Arsenal Overhaul 2.5 is out for anyone interested.
Another Question about SGM 2.1 how do you reach the added areas. Im looking for the entrance to the Military Warehouses. I have only found the portal to Agraprom.

What exactly is the difference between SGM 2.1 AIO and SGM 2.2 AIO? Other than the fact that SGM 2.2 has only the Tactics Books for the vanilla weapons and not the new weapons (how do I add them back in?) and the cordon start (I use the optional Zaton start to save time) and extra maps?

Sauce: http://ap-pro.ru/forum/59-10591-1 Upcoming SoC freeplay mod. Looks mad.
Those skyboxes look sexy. Also, is there a HUD that I can use with AO/MSO? It says don't use Nano Hud all over the installation readmes, so I didn't install it.
yeah those skyboxes are really nice
are there no hud mods that work with Arsenal Overhaul/MSO?
I remember everyone talking about how LA would be a basis for future mods. Are there any promising mods doing that? LA looked really damn nice, but the story and environments where meh.
found this neat drawing of the shadow of chernobyl map on a stalker thread today on /v/ [t]http://i.imgur.com/SesyyEw.jpg[/t]
It's always crazy how big the Zone actually is, considering what a small part of it we actually go through.
okay anyone else have this problem? When playing SGM Lost Souls, the shadows are way too dark. Even in bright daylight I can't see inside of the ranger station without a flashlight at all.
found this neat drawing of the shadow of chernobyl map on a stalker thread today on /v/ [t]http://i.imgur.com/SesyyEw.jpg[/t]
now imagine that whole thing as a fully explorable, seamless open world in an engine like UE4 that is my dream
seamless open world
I think that 'seamlessness' is overrated if it meant that the A-Life system of STALKER, flawed as it is, would be replaced by a generic mob spawning system where things spawn in a small bubble around the player. The key thing would be to just get access to LA's level hub which would be excellent for allowing NPC migrations from one end of the map to another without bottlenecking that happens in SoC maps. [t]http://i.imgur.com/8zafAbM.jpg[/t]
found this neat drawing of the shadow of chernobyl map
Yeah, that's a piece of concept art that was depicting the originally planned level sequence of SoC, many of the levels were like that in Build 1935 and subsequently in Lost Alpha, with the exception of Rostok Factory, which was split into it's own level instead of being a part of the Bar and some others. Here's the same map with some developer scribbles added onto it, showing the sequence and the places where the player is supposed to find the next "infoportions".
