I'd like a key too if you have a spare one. I'm really sad about STALKER, these are some of the best games I've ever played and it's very likely that they'll never get a worthy sequel. I think I was better off not playing these at all rather than deal with knowing that series is RIP Edit: they also are very optimized. I'm running all 3 games on my onboard GPU on a old ass motherboard and I'm somehow clocking a steady 40fps outdoors with 60fps indoors. The only noticeable frame drops come from looking at the water in CoP.
нет it is better to have experienced one of the best games ever than to simply sit back and wonder what could have been.
I wonder what's going on with Call of Chernobyl? Hasn't been updated for a while
There's a promotion going on with GOG where you can redeem your STALKER keys to get a DRM free version there: http://www.gog.com/reclaim I can confirm it works with Steam keys, so this is a great way to have an extra non-Steam/DVD copy.
Any way to redeem the Steamversions of ShoC though? CS and CoP have a CD-Key shown on steam, but not ShoC.
It says my CoP code is invalid. Damnit, I knew steam just bought a single game copy and redistributed to everyone.
Re-visiting ShoC, any good mods or better versions of AMK put together?
Re-visiting ShoC, any good mods or better versions of AMK put together?
If you haven't already, try Autumn Aurora 2.x. It doesn't change an awful lot outside of visuals and weapons, but it does so much in those departments that the game felt fresh when I played it, and that is after countless 100s of hours of other mods. One of our resident fashion designers (LoNer1) made it.

Oh man I love GOG. Managed to get a digital version of my physical CS. Only Stalker game I got on DVD.
So, you can get really trippy in CoP now. http://www.moddb.com/mods/ultimate-weapon-renewal/videos/tripping/#5181570 It looks really, really good.
that tree swaying could actually be really cool if it happened during emissions. like there's a freak storm going on and everything just pops right off at once
I wonder what's going on with Call of Chernobyl? Hasn't been updated for a while
the devs seem to have disappeared without trace, it happens [editline]2nd April 2015[/editline]
that tree swaying could actually be really cool if it happened during emissions. like there's a freak storm going on and everything just pops right off at once
CoP source now has adjustable tree sway dependent on weather
Didn't work with my Steam keys :(
My Call of Pripyat Steam copy had a key that worked, but my copy of Clear Sky on Steam didn't have a key at all. It might be tied into where you bought your copy originally, since I can't remember if they were both through Steam or if one was a Steam key through another site like GMG or something.
i got all 3 in a bundle and only SHOC doesn't have a key
i got all 3 in a bundle and only SHOC doesn't have a key
Open Registry editor and look for one of these: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GSC Game World\STALKER-SHOC\InstallCDKEY" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GSC Game World\STALKER-SHOC\InstallCDKEY"
Survarium is on steam finally!
Clear Sky & Shadow of Chernobyl free. You'll need to do some work with proxies but for people that don't have these games and are low on cash, it might be worth it. GOG keys also, not Steam.
So are there any good mods for SoC/CS/CoP people can reccomend that aren't these shitey "super-real-one-hit-killathon-flashlights-do-fuck-all-at-night-time-bandits-can-oneshot-you-with-a-pistol-from-miles-away" ones? just a decent fun mod that adds a lot of stuff but doesn't make the game stupidly difficult?

Also, MSO + AO is a nice combination, although you might find the weapons to be a bit too powerful. [editline]3rd April 2015[/editline] Also, can someone help me compile SoC source? I managed to get an improved verson from a good source. [sp]Double "source" in 1 sentence sounds weird[/sp]
quick question , is there any way to make the health and armor bars show as numbers instead of you know bars?
quick question , is there any way to make the health and armor bars show as numbers instead of you know bars?
l2mod
l2mod
welp i did try messing with the maingame.xml but i only got an empty health bar , guess i'm SOL.

It keeps a lot of stuff vanilla, so it stay familiar but it adds enough stuff to shake up vanilla and make it fun again.
It wasn't really helpful either. I have not looked into stalker modding, but he could at least give an example or direction where to go.
The 'Features' tab is misleading on ModDB's part - it means 'Features' as in 'Articles', not features as in a list. The best place to find our features is our website, www.wormwoodmod.co.uk
I do wanna know exactly what Redux added, though, I can't find that.
The Redux v1.0 features list is still there on the features tab.
Howdy-ho, Stalkers. Since I got GOG copies of the trilogy I've decided to replay SHoC but wanted to ask about a couple things. Does anyone use the unofficial 1.0008 patch and if so is it worth it? And are there any good mod merges with AA2?

Oh yeah I should have specified sorry. The patch based off the source code. The change log looks alright but I'm wondering if its unstable or just really not worth it.
It wasn't really helpful either. I have not looked into stalker modding, but he could at least give an example or direction where to go.
If he had recommend stalker soup sure directions might be pretty useful. But do some people REALLY need that much help to type Stalker MSO into google? Come on its the first result and has links and directions in the same results for MSO + AO.
Oh yeah I should have specified sorry. The patch based off the source code. The change log looks alright but I'm wondering if its unstable or just really not worth it.
I've been using it since it leaked (codebro's tweaks and I've even got a better version now) and it's stable. But, there's a ~1/100 chance on getting a really annoying bug. First one is not being able to open the inventory when you've got your weapon out and the second one, not being able to open / quit the mainmeny while in-game. I've had the reload bug and it's really annoying, but other than that the game runs really smooth. Also, I'll ask once more, for the upgraded source (it has really nice things in it, like traders not accepting weapons below a certain degradation, for example (ported back from 1.6)) I need people to help me compile this.
