The launcher for the STALKER coop mod

I should remind that before clicking update check settings for the folder it updates in. At worst it might overwrite on top of your Call of Pripyat install if it's in default folder.
If you don't want that to happen. Create a new folder for Ray of hope and point it there.
Download is stuck at 3% on my end, did anyone finish it yet?

Write nick
Press ok and wait for it to load (takes some time)

I was going to upload files to mega, but it told me to fuck off, by giving me upload speed of 50kb/s.

As shown by DayZ, in the long run, all players degenerate into a state of madness in which they kill-on-sight and don't give a fuck about cooperating with strangers.
Now, given this is the perfect game for that , that effect will be completely amplified. Expect heavy cheeki breeki levels.

If you have graphical gliches make sure you absolutely use [B]higher lighting quality than static[/B].
If game is laggy, try to close launcher while playing. It is p2p and shares your files to others when needed.

Hopefully this is enough to let you try it out.
As i said tho, it's basically a big map in a team deathmatch environment.
There is still money and looting already, you can sell what you loot and even if you die you retain some of the money you had, rest of it is given to whoever looted you. (Yes you get their money for looting dead)
Torrent is quite fast atm, got 1-2 mbps. Leach and seed while oyu can.
So what is this Co-Op mod? Is it like, exploring, finding weapons on the ground/money?
Is it just RDM?
You can play private coop with friends, but you can also host large freeplay sessions with lots of players. Also the entire map is merged, so there isnt any loading times. I bet there will be many kinds of servers with different approaches and focus once the mod is properly released.

Atm it's mostly rdm since so far they only gave us the chunk of world map.

Since its currently team deathmatch gamemode you can simply buy weapons.
You unlock better gear by playing and killing enemies in it.
I'm hangin' out in Server 2.

So the map in the test is apparently a merged darkscape and Clear Sky's Cordon, I think. Lots of little additions and changes, too.
