Are the workbench items synced or are they all separate? Is local leader the perk to get if I want all my shit synced?
Wait, does this sync all of the junk stored in workshop and weapon/armor station areas?
My Amazon order still says shipping today, will arrive by 8 PM.
At least I got it on PS4 as well, having loads of fun and haven't noticed any major issues.
So concerning skillbooks and magazines, do they have an purpose after I pick them up? It like "x effect is applied to you permanently" after I've picked one up but the book itself is still in my inventory and consumable. Are they kept afterwards just for collecting orrr?
anyone found other power armour parts? I've found like half a set of t45 on some random power armour frame but I haven't found anything else so far after 17 hours.
I fought a raider wearing a PA frame with only the chest and head piece of a T-51 set. I'm carrying it with me right now so I can slap it on my T-45 set.
Wait, does this sync all of the junk stored in workshop and weapon/armor station areas?
They only get synced if you connect your settlements and use the Local Leader perk.
The eventual goal with settlements is to connect them. To do that, you’ll need to unlock the “Local Leader” perk under the Charisma category. Once you do that, you can assign a settler at each settlement to open a trade route with another settlement. Once you do, you can then access the craftable items from both settlements’ workbenches at the same time.
(Sidequest Spoilers) [sp]For those who have played the BoS side quests and have found the "scuttled" suits of armour, are the pilots literally fused into their armour during this process?[/sp]
So how do I entirely turn off depth of field? It gives me a headache.
I don't think there's a way to do this yet. I'll do some more research.
I dunno why people complain about power armor needing fuel, the positives outweigh the negatives when you can double the duration of them through perks and they are so moddable.
They are so fucking imposing compared to normal that you feel like you can take on the world.
Wait, does this sync all of the junk stored in workshop and weapon/armor station areas?
The "supply routes" allow you to sync workshop inventories with eachother.
To do this you need to set a settler to a specific supply route though, press Q looking at them in workbench mode.
Anyone? Does the name reader discriminate by spelling?
Adem to Adam?
Connor to Conner?
Etc
Edit:
Agree doesn't answer since there's two phrases
Is Conner gonna work?
So, Dogmeat and Nick Valentine just... disappeared on me. I sent them to Sanctuary Hills and they're not there or at any of my other settlements. What do?
This was a tip mentioned in the previous page, but honestly I'm not exactly sure what it means. I'm thinking there's some sort of choice for this or something?
If you lose track of a companion and didn’t specifically send them somewhere (it occasionally happens when the story forces a companion on you), look for the sent off companion where you first met them.
EDIT:
It almost sounds like you can find them at the location you first met them? IDK

I feel like I can take on the world, but my first super mutant encounter wearing it still had me blown to bits. Turns out, rocket launcher > power armor
Early results of my 10 INT and 9 CHR run, settled a few things peacefully already but I fear I may of made the gunplay harder than System Shock 2 as a result and that game is no easy feet to conquer.
The settlement mode is really disappointing.. Its really limited.
Apparently you need a 6 charisma perk to craft any of the fucking stations, i was having fun with it until i scrapped a cooking station and found that out.
Also, if anyone is having that weird-ass lighting bug where everything turns white and you're wondering what to do, just load a previous save. If you save the game after it happens it persists on the save, no changing of any setting will fix it.
Just got a 60MB update, anyone else?

Fixes some audio crash I believe
Pete Hines replied to my tweet almost instantly but he doesn't know

Just noticed from the webm that your character closes one eye while aiming. I love the little details they put in this.

It's also the kind of thing that can definitely be changed with mods on consoles.
Loving this game so far. IT IS SUPER IMPORTANT YOU DO THAT .INI FILE SHIT it turned my game from barely playable (fucking FPS stuttering and gun aiming lag and all sorts of horrors) to a really enjoyable and immersive experience.
Didn't think I'd have this much fun building a little settlement. Is there any way to lock wooden floors / walls down on the ruined house foundations after I scrap the houses? I feel if I try and do everything by eye, it'll end up wonky and ugly. I'd prefer if I could snap things to grid.

Tried that, Dogmeat's not at the red rocket and Nicks' not at his office.
What the fuck, I just found a mole rat with [sp]landmines on it's back[/sp]. What's that all about?
So I'm having a conversation with a wandering Brahmin trader on the road, bought some items, the very moment I left conversation, a Legendary Mr.Gutsy appeared out of nowhere and insta head shotted the trader and the head flew off in an arc while the body spazzed out and bounced away, I barely made it out alive because that thing was dealing so much damage.
every time I try and use a low-graphic .ini the launch screen defaults me back to medium, what do I do? they're already read-only

I can't seem to change my graphics adapter. It's using my integrated card and not my actual card, and even though I set it to use my card in Nvidia control panel it still uses my integrated card. Can someone help me out?

Try saving the file while the launcher is open. Or you could try copy and pasting the data into the file that it creates just make sure to turn off read-only and turn it back on after you save it.

Where did you change that setting in the Nvidia Control Panel?
So ingame vsync locks me to 30fps, i have to use Nvidias Vsync
However regardless if i turn vsync off or on in control panel i get this judder turning my camera and i have no idea how to fix it. Really distracting and ruining the game for me right now.
