Anyone?
I'm not sure where the Downtown Area is, but you can use this map: http://www.fallout4map.com/ Hide all markers, scroll down on the left side and click on Settlements.
Any way to cheat companion relationships? I really don't like save scumming every time it turns out my robot waifu didn't like what I said in a conversation.
To help place objects in hard places use a small rug then place the object on the rug, pick up the rug and the item will remain attached but the game uses the rugs collision detection.(This allows you to clip objects into walls!)
explain?
Sorry very late response. If you place the wall so that it's Geom is generally sitting on the rug, then move the rug, it gets placed according to the rug and it's collision box rather than the wall, place the wall where needed, then just use store on the rug, and then rinse and repeat. Takes a bit of fiddling to get it working right.

Man, the preservation shelters are awful things.
Man, I got my hands on the alien blaster, it's some seriously rad shit, it destroys most things in a few shots and you get 500 rounds to start you off. The best part is it can be modded to take normal fusion cells once you run outta alien batteries. I got my hands on a ripper and super sledge too, the super sledge is kind of shit right now because of how slow it swings, I'm hoping an upgrade into the stun mod will make it better, but the ripper is now my favorite melee weapon
I see a few requests for ID's for items and NPCs for when the engine decides to swallow them hole. There's a neat little trick that's been in the engine since Oblivion (I think): Open the console and type: help "item" 0 The "item" can be a partial name. This will give you a printout of every object, NPC, item, quest or perk with "item" in the name. You can scroll through the output. You can then do player.additem, player.addperk or any other command that requires that ID. So if the game decided to swallow your explosive weapon, just do "help explosive 0" and search for your weapon. Now, obviously, since this search is game-wide and includes quests and NPC names, you should be careful since the results may contain spoilers. It's also straight-up cheating, which can ruin your experience. But in a Bethesda game, you often need to recover things when the engine decides to muck up. You can also you player.modav to alter stats and perk levels, though some in-game calculations can get fucked up if you use it to change some attributes. Also, never use player.setav. It overrules the internal variable you are modifying and can disable certain triggers and can cause your entire character and progress to get fucked over royally. It can even break the leveling mechanic. Only way to fix it is to reload, and in some cases, restart the game beforehand as well.
Not a pre-war relic, but you can find a Raider somewhere in the southeast iirc kneeling down and silently grieving his dead Raider friend in a small graveyard I almost felt bad about shooting him in the head
I was planting crop rows at the castle while in my PA (cause why ever leave home without it?) And when I jumped down to get to the center faster my ground pound hurt a settler and suddenly the entire settlement started attacking me Then codsworth sic'd on them and killed a bunch of my settlers while i stood around getting plinked on before I decided to leave Classic fallout
So is that one guy in Diamond the only plastic surgeon in the game? Trying to use the showlooksmenu command is a ball ache when my character moves his head around no matter what.
Use TFC 1 to freeze the world.
Would someone please upload a screenshot of the motorcycles in Fallout 4? Perhaps the one from the beginning? I know there's a good one somewhere near the museum of freedom leaning up against a wall somewhere in the beginning. I love the way they look, and am seriously considering trying to make my motorcycle look like it. Oh, and I took a screenshot myself, but I'm at school now and can't access it.
Pretty please! There are no screenshots of the FO4 motorcycle on any of the wikis yet, and I'm talking to a friend and trying to show them what I want to do
To me the biggest problem with settlements currently is how bloody finicky is to assign settlers to do stuff and there's no quick and easy way to tell if the guy in front of you is assigned to anything unless his work station happens to be in view. That can't be so difficult to do, people assigned to supply lines already change name to provisioners, why couldn't they do the same for all other jobs? Did this seriously never come up during play testing?
Anyway to grab built structures/things from a settlements workshop to another settlements workshop?
Supply Lines and store them
FYI, she looks like Megan Fox.
... ...:suicide:
Leading legendary enemies to cars and blowing them up with the car mini Nuke explosion saves so much ammo, hot damn. I killed a legendary mirelurk unknowingly doing this
Unarmed is some pretty intense shit
I'm curious about people's opinion of the story so far: One thing that I'm hoping so far is that there isn't flat-out good/bad factions like FO3 did with the Enclave and DC BoS. [sp]I've barely scratched the surface with Danse and hope that this sect of the BoS was akin to the west coast sect. Conversely, I hope the Institute is just as morally ambiguous as my perception of the BoS (I haven't meant any Institute scientists, just a few rogue Synths).[/sp] Needless to say I don't mind a few straightforward do-gooders or straightforward assholes ([sp]i.e. Minutemen and Raiders akin to the Followers and Fiends respectively[/sp]), but I don't want all my factions to be completely polarized on either side of the morality spectrum.
-snip I don't know how to embed these- https://vid.me/2XIF Hm :v:

I just completed "Institutionalized", but I'm also working on Liberty Reprimed with Dr. Li[/sp] (quest name and characters spoilers.) It's bothering me - I have no diea what I want to do. There's so much to do.
Does anyone know where to find the full-suit type combat armor?
;49108515']No seriously what's the rug glitch I want to know, not being able to perfectly line up my wire fence is driving me fucking insane.
you can put down a rug, and then put some stuff, like the wooden fences on top of it. then move the rug and place it anywhere as long as the rug doesn't collide. basically removes the collision check for the fence
Did the same, you can fill up the inside of that boathouse pretty neatly. I'm far from done though
that's nice. i built a tower because i was bored [t]http://i.imgur.com/DO2giRk.jpg[/t]
So my framerate is going to shit at the corvega power thing. Is this supposed to be a feature ?
https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3shl9i/fallout_4_tips_everyone_should_know/
I've actually been sat the last hour trying to hack this bullshit collision crap out because a lot of people have been asking me to try after my unlimited objects hack. Got all excited because the colour wouldn't change red any more: [t]http://i.imgur.com/PaUUaAc.jpg[/t] But you still can't place anything. :(
I got a two-shot fat man last night. I converted it to a MIRV launcher. That is a lot of boom that somehow does not impact my frame rate pretty much at all.
I got a two-shot fat man last night. I converted it to a MIRV launcher. Sounds lethal though, after my experience two-shot is so inaccurate you'll get a ton of.. uh... touchdowns with that
The best thing about my two-shot MIRV was testing it by saving then firing it in to the workshop area of Sanctuary. Got to watch the notifications scroll by telling me how everyone hated it. Then at the very end: "Strong loved that."
I opened the safe in one of the first houses you see, and didn't notice it was booby trapped. It went off and I was unharmed and completely confused.
[sp]is there an exact spot where the UFO crash is? ive followed it in a straight line but i havent found it[/sp]
