I noticed the pip boy zooms in if you press the same button you use to change your view (on the Xbox one controller anyway)

My only problem with the hacking minigame is it's inherent RNG. Other than that, I like it. I've had multiple ones where I actually have to think and it's fun, but sometimes I just have to reset because there are so many different words that I can't find a single point of likeness in 3 words, in which case you have to reset because you're p much fucked if you don't.
Man, I love this game, but ever since I hit about 50 hours in the game is now 5 times as buggy. Quests are breaking left and right, companions are disappearing or getting put into a state where I can never interact with them again, weird graphical glitches are becoming more common, and it almost makes me want to start over. At least I finished the story before everything went to shit, I guess.
I caved and bought it..
My PC can run it practically flawlessly on the highest settings, something it couldn't do with the previous games on release -- This makes me rather happy.
After playing for 103minutes, I can say that I don't regret the decision to buy it.

Still no dice. I don't get why it's reverted back to an old UI colour I had, and why it's zoomed in, and why the Pipboy has all the dust from before it's picked up and wiped off.

I also just noticed that weapons seem a lot closer to the player, if that makes sense. But I've never changed the FOV. All I've done is backup my old character and now made a new one. :/

if its zoomed in double click m2 with the pip boy up, that'll let you zoom it out
I'm 30 hours in. Haven't been Diamond City yet. Everytime I go towards it I see Raiders, go off to kill them. Then I'm outside a building I haven't been in, clear it out. Go back to my settlement deposit my junk and repeat.

Okay, loaded my old Character, pipboy works perfectly fine. Reload new character save, and suddenly it's back to being zoomed in and off center.
Does using the console still block achievements?
I remember that opening the console disabled achievements in other games, or was this just a rumour?
I want to play around with tfc 1 because there is much potential for screenshots.
I've validated my files, and reinstalled the game, but no matter what I do, my game just crashes on startup now. Great.

I had the same issue although without the dusty effect, just type FoV 80 into the console and it should be back to normal.

It doesn't, I used tgm a few times and I still got achievements.

Other useful command - sucsm [number goes here]. It changes the speed of the tfc camera, it's 8 or something by default which is really fast.

The only thing I truly dislike so far is that there are all these nice looking clothes like suits and trenchcoats but I can't wear them unless I want to run around with almost no defense because there's no way to add armour to half of them or even upgrade them.

so is it just me or at level 30+ the game's balancing goes massively to shit?
I end up dumping a mag+ of 5.56 or fusion cells into an unarmoured raider's head point fuckin' blank and he loses half his health. This is really really really pissing me off.
It's even worse at higher difficulty levels, because apparently player damaged is halved AND NPCs get health boosts.
Artificial difficulty at its finest, gg Bethesda on making the game not fun anymore.
This took me so much time to make, gather resources and such.

Assigned her to a caravan and hoped I'd never see her again.
I fixed my crashing issues, but I cant get the game not to force fullscreen every single time I start the game.
It just defaults back to native resolution no matter what I do.
I'm having trouble doing that rug glitch, I put the fence on the rug, try moving the rug and it moves only the rug? am I doing something wrong?
