Well, sadly it matters because I'm playing on Very Hard and things tend to not go so well if I'm sitting at around 0 armour.

I know you can have armour on top of some clothes but not all, specifically some I'm interested in.

well I'm playing the hardest "Survival" mode.. :v:

But yeah I feel you totally. Too often I find cool clothes where I want to try some pieces of armor on top of them, but nope..

I use Survival100MorePCDamage.esp. Which makes you do 2.0x damage just like enemies.

Its a lot more like say Stalker now, I die quick, they die quick, and the rest of the game's core balance and Survival mode aspects (slow healing) are kept intact.

I love it, its like a brand new game

I've got an optional objective there but the map won't show where it is. I've been looking around for about an hour and still can't find it.

You can tell steam to save high quality pngs in the settings.

Has anyone been able to find the other variants of each of the layerable armour sets?

From screwing around with console commands, it seems like there's three different variants of the five (Leather, Combat, Synth, Raider and Metal) sets.

Normal (The only one I've found in 40-something hours), Sturdy and Heavy.

Though it's possible the other versions are either only used for legendary items or won't spawn at lower levels because levelled lists.
