At first glance, the posters are fairly small, meaning that you could probably fairly easily line a wall with all seven of them spaced apart in a row. The pages of the actual book itself is typical strategy guide glossy paper, though I'll admit it's a helluva lot thicker than the usual ones I've seen. The posters are printed on pretty high quality glossy cardstock, and it even came with a bonus I wasn't aware of: a free eGuide copy of[sp]I think[/sp]any other prima strategy guide. All in all, well worth it, I'd say. It really goes into intricate detail on EVERYTHING you can encounter in the game, and I'm actually really reluctant to read through more of it until I've beaten the game at least once.
Anyone know what prompts executions? I want some sword executions.
man this 'follow dogmeat to a pile of cigars, awkward animation then follow him to the next pile of cigars' thing is getting really boring
why does every goddamn game with a dog have to also have a mission where you're required to use that dog. just have someone tell me where to go and i'll go there myself, damnit.

Why did you have autosave turned off?
Someone should make a mod that replaces the mini-nuke with the giant one seen at the start of the game. That would be neat.
So I saw the alien ship fly by but I can't find the crash site at all. Is it on fire or anything that might help me find it?
Can someone suggest what my Special Points should be for a stealth sniper/melee character?
Wow, I activated a sentry bot on defense mode and when mole rats came from the ground it was wrecking their shit up. I didn't expect the robots to be that fast.
Can someone suggest what my Special Points should be for a stealth sniper/melee character?
High Agility, High Strength. Maybe high Luck if you want crits.
When is the Underground Undercover quest supposed to proceed? I read on a wiki that [sp]once I complete Mass Fusion, I should get a message from Z1-14, but I've finished that and I haven't gotten any messages. Should I just do another quest for the Institute or is that undercover one just broken now?[/sp]
Uh... What am I looking at?
Somehow, he replaced the image on his server like a complete tool. It was a bank vault full of gold bars, pre-war money and a fuckload of wall safes.

I found Dunkan.
I saw him in my scope, but never actually went to check him out up close. Gave me a laugh in the middle of a firefight.
It's weird seeing pristine ammo boxes scattered among rust and grime.
This is normal game design, they are made to contrast with the background, so that you can find ammo easier.
The vanilla ammo boxes already have some dirt on them, but not excessively. And the Pipboy shouldn't be rusted because its casing is plastic, and I doubt the character would keep it extremely dusty while it's on his/her wrist
I've got to say this is one of the few games I truly enjoy using sniper rifles in. Headshots are generally a one hit kill unless the enemy is in heavy armor, and the travel times for bullets aren't as overexaggerated as they are in most games. I can't wait until I can upgrade my sniper rifle to have the .50 caliber receiver so I can one hit kill everything with headshots.
I also really hope someone mods in a Mosin-Nagant eventually because who doesn't want to be running around with a 400 year old bolt action rifle sniping people who have laser guns?
Anyone tried getting the ghoulish perk yet? I'm planning on skipping all the rad resistance perks until I get that so I can heal up in the glowing sea or in water, but how good is the perk's healing?
Found a Walther PPK, I'm officially James Bond.

One more, this one makes the ammo box textures look dirty and old. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/523/?
You know I wasn't that impressed visually with how a lot of the regions buildings looked mostly lightly bombed or degraded in some war zone, it didn't look so much that a bomb fell rather there was some blitz. That all changed when I went to the glowing sea, oh boy makes it much better knowing the area I am in is simply the outskirts of the bombs blast that survived much devastation, that massive crater really does feel like a bomb just went off; down to the way the trees are pushed back.
I'd really enjoy a DLC that involved living through those 2 hours of the nuclear holocaust, perhaps as a U.S soldier in power armour protected from some radiation. From what I've gathered around my journey is the army was running around during those bombs landing, either trying to clean up waste, fighting or dealing with civil unrest.
I find myself often trying to patch together what happened in those 2 hours, it's quite interesting.
You know what the introduction scene missed?

It would make things even more balls to the walls insane. I really thought this was missing.
You don't even have to experienced a bombing first-hand to know that this sound means hell.
so i got the gauss rifle, but quickly noticed how weak it sounded when it fires, so i added my own sound that has much less of a 'pew' sound to it

also bethesda needs to fix the issue where when charging the gun it tilts down, making your sights off center and very hard to shoot accurately at range
oh god I am in fucking love with that cathode ray tube design
is it that? I don't remember exactly. whatever. it's a tube with light.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the state Boston and the northern part of the map is in was from the resulting anarchy rather than the nuclear attack itself, unlike the other wastelands in the series which were leveled by multiple bombs being liberally applied.
And damn, the glowing sea is definitely impressive - Though I guess they HAD to make it truly feel like a nuke hit there, since that nuke was the only one dropped in the surrounding region. That said though, the actual crater at the center was rather underwhelming IMO.

Uh, that's not CRT. CRT is what's in the computer screens. That's a nixie tube.
Um, did some environment programmer make a typo?
i just found four [4] Fusion Cores (not Cells) stuffed in an ammunition case inside [sp]the CIT rotunda.[/sp]
Where do you get the big ass coat the elder on the BoS ship is wearing?

That's no accident. You'd get more than four cores if it was meant to be ammo.
At that point in the game you'll typically find cores in crates five at a time. For example, an early-game area later becomes a raider base, with a ton of cores around.
Wait, I thought there was an air-raid siren going off during that part.
Oh yeah, you're right. It's only when you're still in the street though, maybe that's why I didn't remember it.
