You know what the introduction scene missed? It would make things even more balls to the walls insane. I really thought this was missing. You don't even have to experienced a bombing first-hand to know that this sound means hell.
I've experienced it many times and let me tell you I seriously don't need to hear it again as long as there are no Iranian made rockets flying overhead. Ugh. That sound gets into your soul. On a lighter note: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/fJhqH0q.jpg[/thumb] The raiders aren't waiting for the sex mods. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Cu3nyVd.jpg[/thumb] The teddybear gags here are much cooler than the cheese gags in Dragon Age Inquisition.
I swear, despite only being about level 10 I've probably got about 15 fusion cores now. It feels weird knowing that I could probably keep wearing my power armour and nothing else for the next few hours without even needing to search for more. Frankly, it's pretty shameful how little I've been wearing it. Does anyone know if/ how much fast travel reduces your core charge by?
The Silver Shroud is officially one of my all time favorite quests.
Protip: You can use Shift+WASD instead of having to use the arrow keys all the time in the settlement building menu.
High Agility, High Strength. Maybe high Luck if you want crits.
Is there much point in bother at all with int and perception ?

I feel like this game starts to get worse at higher levels on survival, the enemies turn into bullet sponges. Takes 6 rounds from a fully upgraded .44 to kill a single Mr. Handy.
That's no accident. You'd get more than four cores if it was meant to be ammo. At that point in the game you'll typically find cores in crates five at a time. For example, an early-game area later becomes a raider base, with a ton of cores around.
i'm still only level 12, i haven't even been to Diamond City yet. aren't i still a little early on, in progress, to be finding that many cores? [editline]Edited:[/editline] like, i only ever find Fusion Cores one at a time inside their generator stations at the bottom of factories and plants and warehouses. do they really get that plentiful later?
When is the Underground Undercover quest supposed to proceed? I read on a wiki that [sp]once I complete Mass Fusion, I should get a message from Z1-14, but I've finished that and I haven't gotten any messages. Should I just do another quest for the Institute or is that undercover one just broken now?[/sp]
[sp]For me it only progressed after a Directorate meeting about taking out the railroad.[/sp] Anyone have their own Nuka-Cola recipe? I tried my own using the magic of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Basically, I knew it had to be fruity, so to simulate that my recipe was 50% Diet Coke, 25% Hi-C Fruit Punch and 25% Vanilla Sprite. It turned out pretty good, had a nice fruity hint and since the mix is made using a phone app it automatically pours it for you, anywhere there's one of the machines. Kinda funny to see a coke machine have a Nuka-Cola option on the screen. You could use cherry coke for Nuka-Cherry and I'm thinking lime coke for quantum as my options are a bit limited. Be warned, though, if you leave it out for too long the fruit punch overtakes the cola flavor.
How's the level scaling in the game?
I'm level twenty two and I've only been to Diamond City once, and didn't even do anything there. I've now almost completely explored the glowing sea though v:v:v [editline]14th November 2015[/editline]
How's the level scaling in the game?
there isn't any. at least, it's not as intense as Oblivion or Skyrim's.
Hmm.
Hmm.
well all the giblets need to have blood right?
This is normal game design, they are made to contrast with the background, so that you can find ammo easier. The vanilla ammo boxes already have some dirt on them, but not excessively. And the Pipboy shouldn't be rusted because its casing is plastic, and I doubt the character would keep it extremely dusty while it's on his/her wrist
I agree with this - that Pipboy retexture is the laziest thing I've ever seen, don't know why anyone would like to use it. It still even has the same roughness value as plastic so in sunlight it's really glossy but it's supposed to look like rusty metal? Good work there buddy
Hmm.
Crouching Tiger, Wounding Fat Man.
A couple screenshots [t]http://i.imgur.com/nDgpG9I.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/P30A3WD.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/JoslwIl.png[/t] The last one made me kinda sad because [sp]that place is filled with ghouls[/sp]
I'm 28 and haven't been to diamond city yet.
But have you explored all the harder areas was the point of my original post. You'd think the glowing sea is something a level 40 char would get to, see's how that area is littered with deathclaws.
Very Hard. My friend on survival also confirmed this phenomenon.
what the fuck are you running????? i'm playing on very hard and everything slaughters me
If you have a fat man and the big gun perk, they are np to kill
rifleman+powerful combat rifle is a great combo for killing anything in the glowing sea as well, i can do 88dmg per shot and i can drop deathclaws before they get close enough to kill me
Do you have to get hit on a specific limb in order for the damage resistance of the armor on that limb to take effect? I have a total of 80+ Damage Res and 60+ Energy Res with all my armor pieces, but I still feel like I'm taking the same amount of damage whether or not they are there.
So I [sp]sided with the Railroad and blew up the institute.[/sp] I'm assuming that's the end of the main questline and anything else I might get from the [sp]Railroad[/sp] is extra side stuff. I'm quite impressed at how much the main story can branch depending on who you side with. Didn't expect it from Bethesda. My only complaint is that [sp]for the Railroad at least, I had to do more for the institute that I would have liked. It didn't really make sense to me to help them get their reactor started, or recruit people from the wasteland.[/sp]
what the fuck are you running????? i'm playing on very hard and everything slaughters me
Yeah, i'm on Survival, level 12, but in all my hours so far, every single molotov that hits near enough to damage me takes away at least 50% of my total health immediately and always cripples at least one limb [editline]Edited:[/editline] clearly i enjoy oppressive slaughterfests that end in an instant over and over again!!!
what the fuck are you running????? i'm playing on very hard and everything slaughters me
My main weapons at the moment are a fully upgraded automatic assault rifle with the Assassin tag (+50% damage against humans), a fully upgraded hunting rifle with +10 energy damage tag, and the Righteous Authority fully upgraded and automatic.
Just played the (side quest spoiler) [sp]mission where you go to Salem and venture into the witchcraft house and the game turns into a horror game. What a cool mission.[/sp]
why does fallout 4 randomly crash without an error message or anything
Okay so two bugs just sprang up in me: Has anyone with a multi-monitor set-up encountered an issue with the game launching on a non-primary monitor? It used to not do this, but as of today it insists on launching on the wrong monitor and the only fix for me is to disable that monitor. A relatively minor issue, but still annoying. The second one is a lot more annoying. I have my entire inventory cleared of all items that have a weight to them, but I am still reading as like 106/240 or something very similar. Has anyone every encountered this in one of Bethesda's game? It is really irritating that almost half of my inventory is taken away from me due to some bug.
I just [sp]killed the[/sp] Pillars of Community [sp]in cold blood. Bunch of fucking highwaymen is what they are. HOW DEAR YOU STEAL MY POWER ARMOR AND USE IT AGAINST ME!!!![/sp]
