this is my experience with fallout 4 so far [t]https://db.tt/6ZtgrmPR[/t] i might have a problem
Looted a Legendary and found some Knuckles that did additional damage for each additional addiction you had. I don't use chems that often but, damn, if you found those you'd be set.
Character screenshots? Character screenshots. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/392172445578724623/39464C9B5F2C8C0D08A5A1902FFAE81FCC03911C/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/392172445579395232/FA417912CB34B6AFBFB1E107E240FDDE5603283E/[/t]
The settlements are limited to 10 people + your charisma stat, so you can have a max of 20 people. Apparently you can use a console command to give yourself over 10 charisma if you really want more people than the 20 limit.
Ah, looks like I'm going to have to sell some mystery pies to free up some space in my town.
So about assaultrons....
I really want a ghoul mod to come out, I have this idea of playing a U.S vet who was serving during the nuclear outbreak trying to maintain orders/radiative clean up as the bombs were falling. Survived most of the lethal radiation with the suit, but ended up becoming ghoulified.
So about assaultrons....
They're weird. Why would the US army sexualize a robot? Also the dominators are assholes
I really want a ghoul mod to come out, I have this idea of playing a U.S vet who was serving during the nuclear outbreak trying to maintain orders/radiative clean up as the bombs were falling.
I've been having a blast with this game, even if I've been playing it at a horribly slow pace. Also, it runs surprisingly well on my 660 and on mostly Ultra settings, though I had to bump down the resolution a notch. Here's my character, can you guess whom I based it on? Tip: it's from a TV series. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DwqMYOn.jpg[/thumb]
"True Detective"'s Rust Cohle?
what about playing as a synth
There's a mod (read: save file) on the Nexus to play as a Gen 1 Synth; I'm guessing they just used the console to change their race, so it should be possible for all the synths.
So about assaultrons....
EVE or EVA or whatever their name is has a really cool character; cooler than pretty much everyone in the entire area [editline]14th November 2015[/editline]
There's a mod (read: save file) on the Nexus to play as a Gen 1 Synth; I'm guessing they just used the console to change their race, so it should be possible for all the synths.
what sucks is that some synths have really cool looking outfits that make the synth armor look neat as hell. they look like stormtroopers. but since you don't actually ever get the underclothes since it's part of the synth's model, all of the synth armor components never really go with anything it's kind of stupid how the chest piece is an upper harness and the arm pieces are wrist bands, etc etc. the armor could have been so much cooler but instead it only covers like a quarter of your body. it doesn't go with anything, shadowed or otherwise
Nice idea, can I get a look at what you made on the concrete foundations? I've been looking for a way to cover them up.
You mean the ones that the destroyed houses are on? I just put down shack floors on it. I started at one of the back corners and worked my way to the front. [t]http://i.imgur.com/vjxfs18.jpg[/t]
Do your special ranks affect stuff like gun/melee damage or only what perks you can choose
Why would the US army sexualize a robot?
I know, fucking Mr. Gutsy gets me hot n bothered
And Railroad unlocks the ability to armor any piece of clothing. So you can be wearing a tuxedo with 110 ballistic and energy damage resistance along with a fedora that also has 110 ballistic and energy protection. Or if you armor up a piece of clothing that you can wear other armor on, you can probably end up with as much protection that almost rivals power armor.
aw man fuck do you really mean anything? i really wanna side with BoS for my first playthrough, but if you really mean any clothing can be armored through them thats very goddamn tempting...
Do your special ranks affect stuff like gun/melee damage or only what perks you can choose
yes to the former you can go to your stat/special menu to see what kind of resistances/bonuses you get
It's still funny that details about this game was leaked two year ago.
aw man fuck do you really mean anything? i really wanna side with BoS for my first playthrough, but if you really mean any clothing can be armored through them thats very goddamn tempting...
You can get most of the faction-specific rewards without committing to a side:
The Minutemen are compatible with every faction but the Institute, and you can do the majority of the Railroad and BoS questlines without becoming hostile to one of the other factions up until "Tactical Advantage" for the BoS and "Underground Undercover" for the Railroad.
You get the ability to armor clothing from Tinker Tom of the Railroad after doing several quests there, but none that lock you out of working with anybody else.
You can get most of the faction-specific rewards without committing to a side: You get the ability to armor clothing from Tinker Tom of the Railroad after doing several quests there, but none that lock you out of working with anybody else.
is this tom a railroader or whatever, though? and would allying yourself with BoS lock you out of using him?
[t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/581323629927928956/245B32DE0194ABB69298230D303246F80A042F97/[/t] Fucking weapon names, holy shit. I just noticed that the Improved prefix is there twice. It just fucking works indeed.
is this tom a railroader or whatever, though? and would allying yourself with BoS lock you out of using him?
It's irrelevant. You can buy armored clothes from him but you can also do it yourself at a crafting station, so it doesn't matter once you unlock it.
is this tom a railroader or whatever, though? and would allying yourself with BoS lock you out of using him?
Well [sp]the Railroad is dead so I guess I'm fucked[/sp] :v:
aw man fuck do you really mean anything? i really wanna side with BoS for my first playthrough, but if you really mean any clothing can be armored through them thats very goddamn tempting...
It's not any clothing, but a large majority of it. Basically anything that doesn't already have some kind of protection, so that's most settler clothing and all the formal and pre-war stuff. It also works one some character specific clothing, my character is currently wearing an armored version of McReady's outfit. Also holy fuck I just realized McReady appeared as a kid in FO3.
am i the only one that joined the institute because bos and railroad are gay as hell and all the characters suck or am i totally alone I really don't like the railroad because every time you show up drummer boy or what's the leader chick's name just sprint up to you and throw more quests in your face. soon enough you have like 20 railroad missions, which probably make some people jump for joy so they have shit to do but they're all literally the same mission. just at different locales. shit gets stale so fast and they just keep throwing them at you
I'm going through the Railroad missions right now, and I think my current task is glitched. I'm going through [sp] "Randolph Safehouse 1". Where you are supposed to kill a bunch of synths at a University [/sp] and I've done that and now there's no marker to proceed to the next step. The objective says to kill all enemies on sight but no marker indicates that there are any left. I'm pretty in-experienced with console commands but is there one that could reset the quest or something?
Okay so two bugs just sprang up in me: Has anyone with a multi-monitor set-up encountered an issue with the game launching on a non-primary monitor? It used to not do this, but as of today it insists on launching on the wrong monitor and the only fix for me is to disable that monitor. A relatively minor issue, but still annoying. The second one is a lot more annoying. I have my entire inventory cleared of all items that have a weight to them, but I am still reading as like 106/240 or something very similar. Has anyone every encountered this in one of Bethesda's game? It is really irritating that almost half of my inventory is taken away from me due to some bug.
I seemed to have found a solution to the second problem! There are things that can go into your inventory, but don't show up visually in your inventory through some glitch. So I had a bunch of weapons "hidden" in my inventory. Now the problem is that removing them makes my game crash. I'll keep trying! https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3sqmyt/the_case_of_the_mysterious_extra_weight/ EDIT: Okay, I was using the wrong command line. It should be player.removeitem <item #>. Problem solved!
Do you get the railway rifle before you commit to the Railroad? Because that's all I want from them.
I found my railway rifle in someone's pre apocalyptic bunker, I haven't joined the railroad yet on mine!
I think the railway rifle has no relevance towards the railroad at all. it's just called the railway rifle since it shoots iron rail spikes

The next time I started it up it was on the correct monitor again.
