Same with purified water
Wait, did they really not even try to make some mods visually compatible with others? The stabilizer for the Missile Launcher only covers one barrel if you have the quad upgrade.
If you have the quad barrel, you still only have one of the exhaust things on the launcher. It probably makes sense that the rockets are rotated internally after firing, because having basically four launchers strapped together would be ridiculously heavy.
Same with purified water
Also the crops will show up in that inventory, too. I have designated Carrot, Melon, Water, etc. towns.

Well I mean, I was voted Finland's funniest man
On hindsight, though, that is not high praise
Wait, purified water? How? With a water purifier?

is there:
a. a way to make the pipe gun not suck?
b. something better that uses .38 ammo?
I have so much .38 but the pipe weapons are just so weak they're useless at this stage of the game

The pipes are meh, but it's actually mostly BECAUSE of the .38 ammo, cause if you modify anything else into using .38 it tends to lose half it's damage

With all the hideous blemish scars you can give yourself, you could probably rock a "part-ghoul" look fairly easily just with the character editor.
I was lucky enough to take this screenshot:
survival makes you deal 50% damage and enemies 200%
Lol, it sure doesn't seem like that against usual enemies like raiders..
But then again, it might be better that way rather than enemies dealing 5% damage while you deal 500%.
DEATH HAS COME FOR YOU, EVILDOERS!

Even if pipe weapons were the most powerful weapons in the game, I'd still not shoot those things :disgust:

I have one of those, its lovely, though I wish I had that much .45 ammo.
Ehh, if you really need some ammo or fusion cores, why not just use console? (to all people)
Ehh, if you really need some ammo or fusion cores, why not just use console? (to all people)
Cause that way you avoid getting the sensation the developers were aiming for with the current game economy? I'd at least recommend one playthrough without doing it so that you can see how you'll pass by. I dunno, I don't like cheating in games at all, it's like the people who hack their ways to high levels in dark souls must be getting an experience that isn't as good as what the developers were aiming for, this is kinda the same. Like when you find a bunch of the ammo you really want or you actually BUY it from vendor instead it feels like you earned it and you feel rewarded. Just using console makes it feel like you have infinite ammo yay

because that is cheating !
I don't like relying on the console for things on a first playthrough. I mean I can't because I'm playing on PS4, but I'm sure other people have that reasoning too.
man dunwich borers was so awesome
I'm playing on survival and I have so so much Pipe Pistol/Rifle ammo I don't even know what to do with it.
The enemies are spongy but not much trouble, wish it had an option to turn on needs like NV, as boring as they may have been on a gameplay point of view, it was a neat little feature.

Obviously, but it has many uses.
It's not like I have ever used it (yet) for ammo or anything, but if someone feels their gameplay hindered due to something, then console ez fix.

use .38s as caps
I love Synth armor just for the field helmet, it's the only piece I wear at the moment.
so... no? [about scavenging extra materials some pages back]
Btw you can make multiple scavenging stations, if for some reason you want to employ any unemployed settlers.
Assigning settlers to a scavenging station also makes them patrol the area with their gun in hands!
Likewise with guard posts, but that's only for Settlers with a name, and in Sanctuary at least, because nameless Settlers stay on guard posts for 24/7.
[editline]15th November 2015[/editline]
Also, if you don't have a Bar-shop set up for settlers to drink at, they will remain motionless (usually near crops) from 10PM to 00:00, then go to sleep. :v:
So, you need Local Leader rank 2 if you don't want them to stand motionless like retards for "two hours" before bed. Pretty weird stuff.
Settlers without jobs scavenge as well, but assigning them to a scavenging station increases what they bring back. You want free settlers anyway so your shops can make money.
