Can anyone tell me when the major choose faction and get locked into endgame plotpoint is? Mostly so i can make a save before it.
For the institute it is [sp]when you're tasked with getting the nuclear power core thing[/sp]
Secret Vault 81 spoilers [sp]Wow, there are these three lockers in there with lab uniforms and glasses on top of, filled with the skeletons that make up a whole human. So the three scientists died on this side of the place, then Curie came along and gave them a "burial"? One seems to be cremated as there is only a vase in the last one[/sp]
[sp]If you read the old overseers terminal outside of that area, he talks about how he locked them inside the hidden section so they couldn't experiment on the people in the vault itself. Curie also remarks about it.[/sp] [editline]15th November 2015[/editline]
What the fuck the game isn't starting, everytime I click play on the launcher it just appears again.
Restart steam, it happened to me the other day.
Anyone else find it's somewhat pointless to lock some T45 upgrades at such a high level that by that point you'll already have found better power armour?
Is steam the only way to play FO4 as there's a few of my friends playing FO4 on steam then there's one guy that's on steam but it says "in non-steam game Fallout 4" i'm assuming he's pirated the game
[t]http://i.imgur.com/5eoUkK9.jpg[/t] made this guy as a joke character to test things out. turns out he was actually a good fit for the father role. the only downside is you rarely ever find something that looks good on a fat character. still rocking a 111 jumpsuit 20 hours in

settlements are great and all, but every settler should have their own randomly generated name and every unassaigned and assigned thing should have a listed name instead of you know, playing a giant 'run around and fucking guess' game. No, the bell to make them all come isn't a solution, it's a scotch taped attempted. I have no idea who goes to what supply line. no one just points to plants and goes "DO THIS". If you're leading a town you list everyone in town and what they do. You list every job and every person and link who does what up, what suppliers go where, who lives and uses what, etc. Only brainless tit cavemen would work a town via pointing.

It's so easy to be tsundere for Bethesda cause I love their games but they're da real baka
I can barely be bothered to maintain Sanctuary Hills, much less all the other ones I seem to get constantly. I just plonk down a couple turrets in those enough to deter attacks.

Like I can't see the brahmin following them. Like I just know where they are going THANKS. I agree, just renaming the people not traveling would help me so much. Everyone has no name or identity.
I think I should sell my wedding ring for drug money
I wish we could decorate Codsworth, I wanna give him a beret as he seems to be getting most of the kills. [editline]15th November 2015[/editline] Or replace his buzzsaw with a big-ass bayonet.
they really should of worked on it more like my top 3 most things i want is literally -no collision -create a settlement anywhere -scrapping literally means full refund of every part used to create the object you're scrapping
then you could put a settlement in the glowing sea in the middle of a radioactive lake and have it populated by power armored minigun tankers
Why is the config tool not working for me at all, does the file need to be in the games location?
So I gave my spouse's wedding ring to the only companion that matters: Codsworth. May he forever serve me like what a spouse is supposed to do.
I recreated the scene in The Road by throwing it off a highway overpass.

Can some one tell me why the fuck we're not calling the FO4 protagonist 'The Frozen One'?
Without going into any detail, can someone tell me if this guy is somewhere in the game? minor dialogue spoilers [sp]It's right outside of Diamond City where some generic settler tries to bait you into a trap. There's two raiders outside talking about how they tried to trap some guy but he started throwing rocks at them while making sounds that sounded like he was removing pins on grenades and made machine gun sounds with his mouth while trying to escape. I'm really hoping wasteland Michael Winslow is in the game. [/sp]
The assault rifle should have just been named machine gun or light machine gun. It fits fine in power armor or with super mutants.
Yeah, it looks entirely designed to be a machine gun, considering it looks a lot like the WWI1 Lewis machinegun and it has a water cooled barrel. Why in the fuck would you need a water cooled barrel for a semi auto gun that fires 5.56?
So I gave my spouse's wedding ring to the only companion that matters: Codsworth. May he forever serve me like what a spouse is supposed to do.
Hmm, I left the wive's ring on her corpse (on purpose), while I wear mine.. When Codsworth came up with the romance thingy, I just said "Sure you're family" and stuff, I explained Vault-Tec couldn't take him in, like the Vault-Tec doorman told me; it didn't seem like a "romance" at all. Except at one point when I said "Getting a bit soft there, dont u think?" But yeah Codsworth is the Coolest, like your own, "beloved" servitor. If only I could give it some armor, perhaps a skull hanging on it somewhere.. some rags, or camouflage..
Okay, seriously, where the fuck do I find a suit of T-51b? All I ever found was the torso and arms at a national guard post, but it looks goofy without that sweet helmet and the Fallout 4 map website hasn't helped because all I found were T-60s (which quite frankly look like shit imo. They had a chance to do something cool by making brand new power armor and they just made a bulkier T-45. What a waste)
There's a full suit of T-51B on a military supply barge floating in a fairly narrow river to the east iirc, that's how I found mine You'll know you've found it if you see pre-war APC's loaded on it
I'm messing around with hairstyles. I'm not sure what I think of this one. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/393298345487456120/BB6EFF824E2FAC40363DDC35402CAA886906B938/[/t] It makes my character's head look really tall. :v:
I wish there was a way for us to paint weapons/armor in FO4, I mean there's already paint cans and shit so why not? I really like a pipe bolt action rifle legendary that I found, but I'm getting tired staring at it's ugly brown, rusty ass.

I've actually heard two separate completely different conversations about this guy and I too am determined to find him. The other conversation was [sp]about how he confused the Super Mutants holding up in the tower by pretending to drive by on a motorcycle while throwing "grenades".[/sp]
I've made a sort of dedicated hobby of collecting power armors, even created a dedicated building at the castle for storing them. So far I've got an entire wall done, pictured there is all the various shitty mixmatched suits that I have, a few missing pieces as well as my brotherhood T-60 and my fully upgraded X-01 suit Hoping to fill up that second wall soon enough, and with completed, standardized, painted up suits :^)
Yeah, it looks entirely designed to be a machine gun, considering it looks a lot like the WWI1 Lewis machinegun and it has a water cooled barrel. Why in the fuck would you need a water cooled barrel for a semi auto gun that fires 5.56?
I think I already ranted about this but let me express my absolute hatred of the design of the AR in this game one last time. FO1-3, G3 and AK. NV, M16/AR10. FO4, Lewis/Maxim/M249??????? Like what the actual fuck what were they thinking when they drew it up The combat rifle would be okay if it didn't share pretty much the same design as the combat shotgun, also the fact that it's in a fucking pistol calibre. Kinda reminiscent of a BAR with certain upgrades. Why it wouldn't be in .308 instead of .45 by default is beyond me though, .308 is only used by the hunting rifle as far as I've seen and as soon as you get a non-basic combat rifle it's obsolete. Same with .50, even with the hunting rifle's rechambering it's still worthless and therefore there's no point in keeping that ammo - I ended up with 1000 rounds of .50 by the time this became apparent
With my visor and glasses and bobblehead I have a constant 13 perception which is like a permanent 95 to hit. I wonder if it will be 95 behind cover with that perk.
Wait, can your bonuses really go above 10?
that being said selling drugs in f4 is actually pretty profitable
What drugs do they sell in the drug store btw, with Local Leader rank2? Because while you're certainly no honorable local leader, you could build a miserable druggie settlement or two, with preferably defense lower than resources(food+water) so that they get raided, and raped, every once in a while in their drugged up state.
