Does building settlements actually get you anything?
Managed to find the X-01 power armour but with its head and left arm missing. Fucking bummed. Where else does it spawn anyway?
For me, I got 3/5 pieces from the abandoned shack in the glowing Sea. Then I got the missing arm and leg from a crashed vertibird in the swamp to the east of the glowing sea.

i got some pieces from the USMC training yard
For some reason I can't get Hancock to follow me as a companion, I've completed the [sp]Silver Shroud[/sp] quest for him
If you don't want to the games story to be spoiled and you browse Reddit, specifically the FO4 subreddit, don't go there for a while.
It appears one of the mods was hacked or something and well, it's a mess.
Looks like it's being cleaned up pretty quickly though.
So playing survival difficulty, at the start helping the minute men, killed all of the raiders till the deathclaw gets here, how the hell do you defeat it, i mean i just got it's health to like 2% and somehow it killed me in a spot it didn't get me in before with like 1 hit
Save all your minigun ammo for the deathclaw, don't waste it on the raiders. Then backpedal, spray, jump over obstacles to slow it down.
Uhh, so don't fall off a boat in the Massachusetts bay while wearing power armour.
So I have a question about settlements. Is there a way to either not have settlers come in and populate the area, or any way to severely limit how many show up? I want to use [sp]hangman's alley[/sp] as a base but I don't want a bunch of settlers mucking things up.
Walk up to the radio beacon and switch it off when you have as many as you want

Sustainable source of crafting items

For me, I had to do a quest with a character named Bobbi, she's somewhere in goodneighboor. I don't want to spoil anything.

settlers won't come unless you send them from another settlement or you build a radio recruitment beacon. so you're fine, can keep it at 0 followers if you wish. currently looking for a nice place to settle on my own too, I have the castle as my "main" settlement but would like somewhere private to store all my cool shit

I have this shit too, so far I've found no fix
Also... did no one in development think to add a range to encampment missions? "Please deal with this ghoul problem, oh they're in a factory literally on the other side of the map" ???????
[editline]15th November 2015[/editline]
Oh... that's why I couldn't find my target.

RIP
It's rather silly that when you acquire Covenant as a settlement, it has a defence value of 0 despite being so heavily fortified and turreted. A bit annoying considering Bethesda had sufficient attention to detail to not require beds for Graygarden's robot residents, for example.
So professor good sensations or something like that ([sp]the hippie robot[/sp]) disappeared from the settlement and I have no idea where he is. The terminal says there's no[sp]robot in rangue[/sp] too.
I just watched my 11 year old brother kill the first death claw at level 1 without abusing anything, he literally just fucking blasted it down
What the fuck
It's not so much that you gave a named Boss NPC a Fatman, Bethesda.
It's that you allowed him to reload in one second and fire it at point blank range that upsets me.
Oh you gonna love the late-game. Alot of enemies, EVEN NORMAL RAIDERS, have fucking fatmans and all you can do is quicksave because at any time you can hear a bomb coming in and blowing you up.

My 11 year old little brother beat Father G in Bloodborne on the first try while I was watching.
This youth is fucking hardcore
The song variety in this game is a little disappointing. It's mostly all F3 songs you've heard before or like, 5 other new songs.
I don't mind the F3 songs but they used that as an excuse not to add in many other songs.

This happened to me too. Try setting your lighting and godrays to a higher setting. It fixed it for me.
Yeah, INT certainly helped more in that regard that CHR. I easily maxed out all Skills in New Vegas before reaching the level cap because of my high INT and skill-based perks and calculated use of skill mags, which was honestly kinda lame that I even could do that, cause it made me able to see ALL skill-based speech checks
Eh, I wouldn't call it easy, you still have to find like 50 skill books even at 10 int to max them all out.
Oh, I broke Piper, she just sits on the floor now despite not being hurt.
Hahahah oh my god, these sneaky fuckers implemented a data files manager after all

why
Make sure you have "bEnableFileSelection=1" in your FalloutPrefs.ini
muh murge.
I ment to be able to bring it up
[editline]15th November 2015[/editline]
muh automerge again
are you referring to Fallout4Prefs.ini? because that doesn't have an option for file selection, for me at least

Yeah. You have to add the line, it's not there to start with.
Was walking around and found a T-51b suit, although without a helmet and right leg. Are those craftable somehow? Or do you need to find them?
