Too bad settlers can't handle the layered slums that was Hangmans Alley.
any idea where I can find a radiation suit of some sort? cant be arsed lugging about in power armor around the glowing sea area
so the mod tools aren't going to be out for at least a couple to a few months, but I'm already prepping some models/textures for custom guns:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ZAKOQ6P.png[/t]
I mean, you're gonna have to make them very modular to make em work with the customization system or you're gonna get a ton of people saying 'ey yo maboi why can't I customize this you always added mods fa guns in NV'
cant be arsed lugging about in power armor around the glowing sea area
This is by far the dumbest thing you can do. Don't get me wrong, I *never* use Power Armor unless I absolutely need to, and you definitely are going to want to have it.
So am I missing something or [sp]is is there pretty much no explanation for the Institute kidnapping people stuff. Like, before you go there learn that The Institute is hated everywhere, with the kidnappings and shit, then when you get there they kinda... don't really do anything to explain / justify why that is? Why are they kidnapping and murdering people all the time?[/sp]
I feel like [sp]now that I've been there I'm meant to think "oh so they aren't really bad, they're just trying to help" but they still seem like a shady shit organization that hasn't explained anything to me. The Institute still feel like the bad guys, but if I help the brotherhood I'm betraying my son, tbh I don't even want to finish the story because neither option feels like the "good" one.[/sp]

millenia's always been a top lad for weapon customization, the new system should do nothing but help
Just beat the MQ.
..
Eh. Couldn't get attached to any of the factions. They were all kinda boring cliches. Ending didn't really have an impact on me. [sp]Got sick and tired of Father's high-horsing so I shot him in the face while he was on his death bed.[/sp] Gotta let it sit for a few days and go back in with a new character that is explicitly designed for exploring and not crafting/main quests/factions. I didn't come across to many side quests in those 20+ hours either, which is a little disappointing, but I also didn't hang around cities much.

There's a hazmat suit in the northeast part of the map. It's near Dunwich Borers in a radioactive area.
When does [sp]Tinker Tom give me the ability to armor any outfit?[/sp]

Exactly
I haven't encountered the Institute yet but if they are a bunch of beta nerds and aren't the Illuminati I'm going to be pretty disappointed

yeah but surely when just walking around the outskirts of it where there isn't much danger doesn't warrant having to walk around in power armor? I just want a rad suit so I can slap that on if I'm close by and want to walk through rather than having to go all the way back to get my power armor
any idea where I can find a radiation suit of some sort? cant be arsed lugging about in power armor around the glowing sea area
I found one in Cambridge Polymer Labs.
Should I [sp]Kill Pickman? I have his key already. Also is my character literally retarded? He trusts him, despite the only way to reach him is to go through the house where he's clearly skinned, experimented on and presumably ate a bunch of raiders. [/sp]

Doesn't have to be extremely modular. Only a few of the vanilla guns are ones you can change to the extreme, others are just some basic changes here and there.
Holy heck, the [sp]Vault-Tec Rep from the prologue lives in the hotel at Goodneighbor.[/sp]
Minor spoilers.
[sp]You can convince him to go live in Sanctuary too[/sp], but I can't find him anywhere now that I've sent him there :v:
So at level 5 I just got blasted by a raider with a Fat Man.
Okay.
i did at level 2
he had power armor and all
Anyone knows a way to breath underwater/have more air reserve?
I found this:

That thing is big, I don't have enough air to go into the cargo hold, and the whole thing is irradiated as shit. Difference in screenshots was like 40 seconds, AND I'm wearing goddamn hazmat suit(1000 rad resist), not even [sp]Glowing Sea[/sp] gave me this much radiation :blaze:.
Really digging the fact that there are things in sea.
This thing is located to the southeast of Museum of Witchcraft.
Power armor gives waterbreathing, as well as toss you directly to the bottom. Haven't tried with jetpack yet.
any idea where I can find a radiation suit of some sort? cant be arsed lugging about in power armor around the glowing sea area
At the [sp]Four Leaf Fishpacking Plant[/sp] there's a hidden room that's a [sp]chem lab[/sp] and there's some dudes in there rocking some Radiation Suits.
So when do I get to fuck Piper?????
Just do shit your companions like, after a time you'll get dialogues with them and options to flirt.
(there is a perk called Lover's Embrace too :v: )
When does [sp]Tinker Tom give me the ability to armor any outfit?[/sp]
[sp]Do quests for the Railroad until you get one from PAM called Jackpot. Do that then go talk to Tom, he'll tell you that he found out how to add armor underneath clothes and that he has a few in his shop. After that you can armor up most outfits at a workbench.[/sp]
If you read the I'm S.P.E.C.I.A.L book in your house in Shaun's room you can get a permanent S.P.E.C.I.A.L increase. :eng101:

These fucking cows man...
So one character all the textures are super nasty low res with settings on ultra, but if I switch to my other character, all the textures are now in Ultra...what?
There has to be a fix for this surely?

[sp] They kidnapped people to practice with FEV, there is a lab for that. Maybe also to base synths on [/sp]
Example
Ultra settings with one character.
[t]http://puu.sh/lmwsy.png[/t]
Change character.
[t]http://puu.sh/lmDuB.png[/t]
Switch back and it all goes to low quality.
-snip, can't help you with that-
Whoever started spreading this lie should get publicly humiliated
You've clearly misunderstood then, he's saying when he spends 4 wood on a cabinet, he wants 4 wood back when scrapping not 2.
These fucking trader dumbfucks are pissing me right off. They never work like they fucking should. I got a general goods trader and a weapons trader and there's a 9/10 chance that they are not at their post and if they fucking are there's a 9/10 chance that they don't even have the items they should in their inventory. What the hell did I do wrong?
Mind you that I set my traders at Sanctuary.
