Think I'm gonna start over. Set agility low and luck high. Of course I didn't realize that you have to use VATS to get the criticals.

The side quest for Nick Valentine's companion shit is pretty cool. Making me go all over the map to places I never even noticed that I haven't gone to yet.
Does anyone know if your companion's "friendship" level resets if you unassign them as your companion and take someone else instead?
I got Preston to idolize me but then failed the Flirt speech check, and then he ran away to do the Castle quest. Then I got Piper and then switched to Preston again and I'm not getting the idolize speech check anymore. Instead, the [Preston liked that] prompts keep showing up and I just got it to say [Preston admires you], even though he had already idolized me before.
Anyone else confirm this? On a related note, has anyone successfully unlocked any of the companion perks?

Question about supply lines: In order to receive the benefits of shared resources in all of my settlements, do I need to connect each one with each other one, or just having them be in one network is enough? If I connect A to B and then B to C, will A and C be sharing resources?
Well I just finished the main quest [sp]siding with the institute and boy was that unsatisfying. I basically slaughtered the entire BoS (pretty much single handedly because the synths were useless) for what felt like no reason and then my son died anyway. And the mission was pretty much so anticlimactic that I didn't even realize that it was the last mission. Good job I saved before I sided with them so I can go back and side with the BoS now.[/sp]
[sp]I can tell I'm not really gonna bother doing the main quest in future playthroughs, so I guess I'll just murder Father and the Institute as soon as I meet them in future. Oh well, the main quest has never really been what I enjoy about Bethesda games anyway.[/sp]
Sanctuary has a Recruitment Tower but I'm not getting any new settlers, despite having loads of excess beds, about 18 water and 16 food. What gives? I'm stuck at 6 settlers.
Also I hope modders either add the ability to list settlers and assign jobs via that, or Bethesda fixes the janky UI / Settlement bullshit cause it's just atrocious trying to do things in a settlement

I think this has something to do with the "wetness" option, disabling it fixed it. You can activate it later after that storm is over

Is "Ultra" for texture quality. I've gone through the launcher multiple times and it says ultra, went into the INI's, and can't see anything to note that the texture quality is anything lower.

I had my God rays resetting back to some option, but I fixed it by simply pressing "Low" from the Presets in the launcher, then launch game, quit, then go to launcher again, advanced options, and put everything to Ultra or w/e you wish.

Honestly, after playing Fallout 4 there's no way I can see myself enjoying FO3 and NV again, sure they have better RPG mechanics, but actually playing them wont be as fun as playing FO4
