Yeah, two things. My recruitment beacons for Sanctuary don't even work.
Also would it be better to replace my semi-auto combat rifle with a semi-auto Assault Rifle?
[sp]Do quests for the Railroad until you get one from PAM called Jackpot. Do that then go talk to Tom, he'll tell you that he found out how to add armor underneath clothes and that he has a few in his shop. After that you can armor up most outfits at a workbench.[/sp]
Why did they put that feature with the worst group of annoying hippie fuckheads the commonwealth has to offer though
I know the DPS for this is a joke but I love this rifle too much.
Honestly, after playing Fallout 4 there's no way I can see myself enjoying FO3 and NV again, sure they have better RPG mechanics, but actually playing them wont be as fun as playing FO4
I kinda want someone to remake/port NV to FO4
So, is there any use for the silver submachine gun prop you can find in the comicbook place?
You can't seem to drop it, transfer it to a container, and it weighs 1, so it's almost like a debuff rather than something useful.
Is there a mod or a console command that allows you to revisit pre-war Sanctuary ?
Also I found this 10mm pistol earlier on that has the ability of ignoring 30% of the enemies physical and energy resistance, and it's powerful as fuck.
I also have multiple bits of gear that either rduce the cost of VATS, or give me higher AP, and when mt AP is full I can fire off around 10 shots with the pistol in VATS.
It says it's a quest item so I guess you have to find the actual quest (which I haven't found yet).

You need to do the related quest for it. Snoop around in Goodneighbor.

which railroad quest can i do if i want a bos ending?
So I stupidly made the mistake of making my Windows partition too small, and after about 6 months, it got completely full up from installed programs (just regular shit, Antivirus program, Steam, etc.) even though I put all my big stuff on a different HDD (Steam Library, downloads, etc).
So in my attempt to format that HDD and install Windows on a bigger partition, I accidentally went and formatted the wrong drive.
I think I've lost all my game saves. Fallout 4, The Witcher 3 (fuck GoG Galaxy for not doing Cloud Saves, god fucking damn), From the Depths (really fun game that I had a decently badass fleet in).
I'm not even mad, just disappointed and ashamed in myself. No way I'm gonna restart my F4 game anytime soon. I'll probably play it during Christmas break or - worse yet - next Summer :')
avatar moderately fitting

Ah, okay. I don't think I have that quest yet so I'll have a look.
I love Nick Valentine.

What do you mean?
Why is building so fucking stupid in this game.
"Oh you want that doorway between two floor frames? 2 fucking bad kid."
Why is building so fucking stupid in this game.
The fact that junk fences have frustrating collision and don't line up makes me go insane.
The fact that junk fences have frustrating collision and don't line up makes me go insane.
Hopefully modders manage to get them to act like walls and lineup together with nearby junkfence/walls.. It's so fricking frustrating.
What do you mean?
you side with either minutemen, bos, railroad or institute for the ending i read earlier you cant do all the railroad quest without pissing off the bos
How the hell do you please Strong? It seems like everything I do pisses him off in one way or another.
I went into the Salem Witch Musem at level 20 and [sp]the Deathclaw that spawned inside was level 61 and I didn't stand a chance at fighting it.[/sp]
Real talk though, I really do fucking love this game. I was a bit worried with all the pre-release leaks, as it looked like it could be a bit shitty, but this is exactly what I wanted from the next fallout game.
That being said I hope Bethesda do some major changes with their next TES/FO game. This engine feels like it's barely holding together, and if the performance on all platforms is to go by then I think they need to do something drastic next time.
you side with either minutemen, bos, railroad or institute for the ending i read earlier you cant do all the railroad quest without pissing off the bos
Yeah, I'm pretty far into the railroad missions and I've already pissed off the BoS. IIRC it happens during Underground Undercover.
Either way, the game will give you a notification saying "Doing this will permanently make the BoS your enemies."
Is there a mod or a console command that allows you to revisit pre-war Sanctuary ?
It should be a cell that you can transport yourself to with coc but I have no idea what the ID for it is.
On topic of people saying that pipe weapons can't have good combinations: That's totally not true.
I scavenged one from legendary supermutant I just found dead, and it wasn't legendary (I think), but it was obscenely powerful. That came at a cost: it ate through ammo like no tomorrow(dropped from 1200+ ammo to 600 after small building cleanup and 2 boss-tier characters).
So it was gathering dust in my inventory, until following happened:
Fucking fast travel dropped me right in front of the [sp]The Swan[/sp].
I panicked and whipped out my "special occasions" gun and started backpedalling at speed of sound.
25 Seconds and one or two reloads later there was no more [sp]The Swan[/sp].
Will post the weapon itself later.
which railroad quest can i do if i want a bos ending?
stop doing quests for them once you get to "Underground Undercover"

Approval
He likes it when the Sole Survivor kills (smashes) people.
He likes it when the Sole Survivor steals.
He likes it when the Sole Survivor cannibalizes corpses.
He likes it when the Sole Survivor convinces people charismatically.
He likes when the Sole Survivor helps people, but dislikes when he/she empathizes instead of pointing out weaknesses.
Strong dislikes when the Sole Survivor accepts more reputable quests (and likes asking for more money for such quests,) such as the clearing the Boston Public Library for Daisy of Goodneighbor.
Disapproval
If one leads him in a settlement with other inhabitants, he will complain incessantly.
He dislikes when locks are picked and verbally dislikes scavenging.
He dislikes when terminals are hacked.
He dislikes the use of power armor; when the player character enters a power armor suit.
He likes when the Sole Survivor accepts less reputable quests such as securing chems (and dislikes asking for more money for such quests).
He hates it when the Sole Survivor joins the Brotherhood of Steel.
I beat it at level 13, get a mini nuke
If you piss off the BoS, can you still get on their airship to kill them/loot their shit?
