It's a program to do all the tweaking stuff without having to go through and edit the files yourself, and lets you set your INI's to read only when you're done so they don't keep changing back.

The game uses as much vram as available.
I'm chugging along fine on a stable 40 fps with godrays on, using my GTX 570 which only has 1.2gb vram.
Limiting the fps can also help alleviate stutter from low vram.

Finally got SLI working. 3840x1620 at 40-50 fps sort of but not really master race, represent.
Still disappointed by that performance though, are there any really serious performance hogs that people have discovered yet? I've found that the volumetric godray lighting is extremely intensive, but there's gotta be something else.
I just can't think of any reason that this game would idle at 50 fps in an area that really doesn't have a whole lot going on.

I would also like to know this.
Man the performance issues are really hampering my enjoyment. In the normal wasteland I'm getting like 60fps+, but in that city with raiders in power armour I dip below 30 a lot, also the mouse stutter issues wreck my head.
It's some weird issue where if I focus on one object and run around it while still focusing on it, it looks like the object is stuttering, like its getting redrawn every time or something. Anybody experienced something like that before?

I built a container and put it in Sanctuary where I put everything I'm not carrying out with me.

If you're not big on the whole system, you could just use one of the "settlements" as a personal home. Red Rocket is perfect for it. I did it in Sancutary with the old house and just used the mode to flip the furniture.
If you want more conventional tho, Sancutary has 1 house you can buy. It uses the same base building stuff but its much more instanced. Haven't found any others
