https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3s93p4/low_fps_on_good_hardware_try_these_two_fixes/ Setting vsync as adaptive on the nvidia control panel worked for me. Basically you have to cap it again, this time to 60 fps.
That'll still break the ingame time flow, and other important sections of the game, possibly breaking it.
In the beginning area at Sanctuary, where can I find food resources?
Haha oh god there is a fucking [sp] British Mr. Handy as a bartender, wearing a browler hat and speaking with british accent. This game is fucking amazing [/sp]
You're officially about to do the best side quests in the game [sp]DEATH HAS COME FOR YOU, AND I AM IT'S SHROUD[/sp]
Can you still dump your inventory on the floor of your 'home' and it'll stay there indefinitely? Piling pre war money on my beds and having my floor, wall to wall knee deep in loot, is my thing
Huh funny you should mention that because that's what I just did: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/389920012494549422/2B6ABB0E611E8072FED8BB37597281C3B43BEBDC/[/t]
Everyone really should be aware that messing with iPresentInterval will have adverse consequences later in the game, even if they're not immediately apparent.
In the beginning area at Sanctuary, where can I find food resources?
you should have been pointed to another location to help out the minutemen, there's a ton of food there
Huh funny you should mention that because that's what I just did: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/389920012494549422/2B6ABB0E611E8072FED8BB37597281C3B43BEBDC/[/t]
I just don't feel complete unless I can swim in money. I guess if you spend a couple years of your early life eating soup every night, living in a camper van with 3 other people in the middle of a field, you forever want money
Anyone knows what the setting in the .ini files would be for changing the ADS sensitivity? I'd like it to be the same as the normal view sensitivity.
You're officially about to do the best side quests in the game [sp]DEATH HAS COME FOR YOU, AND I AM IT'S SHROUD[/sp]
Fuck I rejected it's offer since I didn't want to do some scrubs dirty work while playing as a "good" character
I just don't feel complete unless I can swim in money. I guess if you spend a couple years of your early life eating soup every night, living in a camper van with 3 other people in the middle of a field, you forever want money
It's quite annoying though because if you even try to drop 2 at the same time, it'll group them into one object. So you have to drop them and go through the drop slider every time.
[sp]There really seems to be a lot of BoS side quests but they all seem to be the same. Does anyone know when Knight Rhys will stop handing out the same fucking quest?[/sp]
When the sun ends life on this planet
It's quite annoying though because if you even try to drop 2 at the same time, it'll group them into one object.
Fuck I rejected it's offer since I didn't want to do some scrubs dirty work while playing as a "good" character
You literally kill drug dealers and crap man, it's a pure hero mission
That'll still break the ingame time flow, and other important sections of the game, possibly breaking it.
I thought it only broke if it went over 60 fps?
**Most likely far into the game spoilers** So I managed to make it to the Institute and [sp]my son is trying to convert me to join them, I thought the main storyline would be over by now but nope, but I guess I am close to the end as it seems I have to pick a side soon. There is also so much bullshit I would like to call my son out on but nope the game doesn't let me.[/sp]
How do I trigger a critical attack on PC? I've read somewhere it's space but that does absolutely nothing and there's no prompt or anything for it anywhere.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ASoE112.jpg[/t] my character CJ inspired by the minuteman
Tits. So I guess [sp]I'm working towards BoS power armor for nothing or is that not the case and I'm misinterpreting your sarcasm for something else[/sp]
Just keep playing. Some events will progress the BoS storyline
I thought it only broke if it went over 60 fps?
The iPresentInterval isn't a vsync, it's an engine function, uncapping it harms the engine speed even if you cap the framerate. The vsync is just a by product.
Seems this game doesn't support true fullscreen at anything other than your native resolution. The "true" fullscreen breaks if you don't play at native monitor resolution, and if you play on "borderless window" you're guaranteed to lose a good 10 fps right off the bat. So you can't use Nvidia DSR in this game, period. You can't downsample resolution in this game without using borderless window, which is a catch 22 because that breaks the Gaussian filter it uses and actually makes things look like shit, while still having extra performance overhead. So DSR = Broken, completely. You can't play this game fullscreen at anything other than native monitor resolution, and you gain no benefit from using DSR if you're using borderless window. It's a bit disappointing for me, but I guess 2560x1080 at 60 fps is fine for the time being, I'll stop complaining now :pudge:
Everyone really should be aware that messing with iPresentInterval will have adverse consequences later in the game, even if they're not immediately apparent.
that's very ominous
Man... getting real tired of the enemies literally breaking geometry to kill me. It's especially bad in the urban areas, as they can shoot through certain holes in buildings and you legit cannot.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ASoE112.jpg[/t] my character CJ inspired by the minuteman
there's no wife beater/jean outfits in the post-apocalypse?
poppin raiders left and right, don't even have the pistol perk yet
if i move the fallout 4 folder from one hard drive to my SSD, do i have to move anything else like the folder in my documents, or will it still use the same folders?
Let me guess, unique character clothing is unobtainable? I really want to wear Scribe Haylen's outfit. The clothing/armor system in this game is a fucking trainwreck of disappointment.
When the sun ends life on this planet
All of the missions for factions become a grind after a while, they just pick a random location and do this and that. Completely useless. Only found the minuteman missions useful to get into [sp]Piper's pants[/sp], but it seemed to be easier to do other missions for it. [sp]Also she didn't seem to mind me sleeping with another woman right infront of her.[/sp]
where do companions go if you send them to sanctuary? [sp]Codsworth and Curie are Garvey are there, but Piper and Dogmeat are missing. Any tips?[/sp]
yeah so keep it below 60 fps... use rivatuners statisitic servers' fps limiter it works great
See my post above on how it's not just vsync.
Just minding my own business
