I'm going insane having to wait for my copy to be delivered, even then I probably won't be able to play for a couple of days because of my ass quality internet.
How exactly do Protectrons work? I tend to program them with the subway attendant personality since I have subway tokens but they attack me regardless whether I try to talk to them or not.

When I set one to law enforcement it only went around blasting enemies and only me if i shot it
I wish they consolidated the NPC settlements a bit in this outing. Arguably by favorite part of Fallout 4 so far is how varied the world design is (Especially the swamp), so it's a bit of a shame that everytime I come upon a 'settlement' it's got all of three people at most.
Alright so none of the FOV fixes work, because the game just reverts back to the default even when I use the ingame fov command. What do?
Fallout 4 is either really badly optimized or my computer is trash. Both of which are as likely. Any information if the fo4 is demanding mostly on graphics card or cpu?
On my computer (i5 3450, 8gb ram, R9 380) I get like 50-60fps with all high (godrays off) in the wasteland and indoors, but in towns and bigger settlements the framerate tanks like crazy
I get like 30 fps in diamond city, it's pretty crazy. I'm wondering whether to just wait to see if performance will be patched.

I did, but thanks for that!

You and me boy!
So, what does the crew button do?
Sadly the ones near me only had 12 bottles per store
The one I work at had 36, and a limit of one per customer. Apparently a ton of people were calling in asking about whether we had it or not, but I managed to get one with my copy of the game before I left this morning.

Read the big post above yours.
So, what does the crew button do?
Credits I assume.
Nope. It's a known issue and I hope they patch this soon...
There has to be a way, because when I use the console to change back the FOV to 80 the interface stays the same so it has be be two different values.
They won't patch it because you're not even meant to change the FOV, it's a bit retarded.
Does anyone know how to scrap all the junk in your Workshop container?
Because you can take any junk out of there, or in your inventory, drop them on the ground, then go into Workshop mode and scrap them.
So I'm wondering, are the junk items scrapped automatically when raw materials end and you're building stuff? And/Or do you need a certain Special level, or some Perk, to salvage circuit boards and perhaps some more uncommon stuff from items?
So yeah, scrapping and building some stuff is a bit confusing to me yet. Also apparently, not all houses can be completely wiped (even inside the area) only the completely ruined ones.

Have you tried setting the .ini file to read-only as suggested above?

It gets scrapped automatically.
Anyone having this fucking issue where exiting a terminal causes you to freeze and you have no choice but to load?
Fucking irritating when i forget to quick save before using a terminal
I only got one question. How does the name trick work with different spelling? Does he still say the sound clip for Connor if I put Conner? And if not, how easy would modding it or console work?
It gets scrapped automatically.
So like, all the random Baby Rattlers and Toasters will be scrapped into various materials as you build more stuff for settlements, while the junk is in the Workshop?
It's just kinda confusing, how did you even check/confirm that junk items get scrapped automatically in the Workshop container?
Some valuable/rare items can end up there too, if you scrap a suitcase for example, all the items inside it go to Workshop container.
I really want FO4 but I don't have a good PC to play it on nor a next gen console :( i pumped 700 hours into FO3 and NV each and i'm nearly caving in to buying a PS4 or Xbone because I doubt I could afford a good PC for the same price.
Oh man. That one radio host. [sp]He's like the anti-Three Dog[/sp]
Anyone know if I'll be able to run 4 with a Radeon 6870?
So, what does the crew button do?
The first thing it does is tell you Todd Howard's name, which is Todd Howard.
(It's the credits.)

It does nothing for me at all.
It does nothing for me at all.
I don't think it's supposed to be emotional.
I got the ending spoiled for me, but to be honest it's such a typical Bethesda ending that i'm really not that all shocked and annoyed by it.
It does nothing for me at all.
Lol, where do people keep finding these bugs...
Okay well, for me the first encountered Deathclaw ran into a wall, got knocked in the air, and died. It was a pleasant surprise because I had some serious trouble bringing its HP down..
Other bug I had was the hand/weapon/pipboy going invisible, but it's hot-fixed by going 3rd person and back to 1st person. But man, for me this game's performance is nearing 100%, no graphical bugs, no crashing, no nothing.
Anyone know if I'll be able to run 4 with a Radeon 6870?
Runs like shit for me, hopefully they release new drivers today.
Welp. I haven't slept in close to 30 hours. I looked down at the clock and it was 7:30am, and I just realized that I've spent hours setting up generators and stringing wires to make my bedroom lit and such. I've barely done any of the game; I've been dicking around with crafting and building. It's surprisingly robust.
Question though: How do I equip items on to Dogmeat?
Been waiting for hours for it to download after the pitiful disc download of 5gb!
In stead I cleaned up and here is the shitty result.
